Carrie Hortsch - hs-front tuck; step back - she kicked out of it too...nicely done; 9.575

Leigh Dixon - huge piked barani; large step backward; 9.75

MaryAnne Kelley - great tucked barani; small step back; 9.775 ... I'm guessing we'll see this vault piked before the end of the season

Courtney Norman - layout phelps; tons of power; hop forward - she twists so late it's really not a Phelps, but still a great vault; 9.75

Carrie Hortsch - great tucked barani; step backward

I'm guessing Carolyn and Carrie will use their exhibition vaults as their competition vaults soon.

Amanda Kaufman? - tucked Tsuk full; form breaks; 9.525

Michelle Baranich? - tucked barani; hands down; 9.1

Ashley Williams? - front pike, very tucked; If I'm right, she scored 9.475.

Lauren Newcomb - tucked barani; nice tight tuck, legs completely together; 9.675

Exhibiton: Unknown 3 - tucked front; nice, small step.

 

UNEVEN BARS

Illinois - 47.475

Jana Gallagher - straddle vault mount; giant full; healy-straddle back; giant full-double tuck dismount; 9.5

Mina Moradi - straddle vault mount; blind change-piked jeager-overshoot (legs drag); double layout dismount, too hollow IMO... 9.325. She was really excited.

Kara Kapernakas - straddle vault mount; blind change-straddle Jeager (fall); overshoot; blind change-double front dismount, stuck; 8.95

Michelle Buranich? - giant full-geinger-overshoot combo; nice in the beginning, small form break, and drags her legs on the overshoot; giant full-double tuck dismount - step back; 9.4

Karen Hawley - straddle vault mount; Tkachev; straddle back to handstand; Shushunova (sloppy); double tuck dismount, small hop; 9.475

Ashley Williams - hecht vault mount; blind change-piked jeager-overshoot; blind change-front giant-double front dismount with a step; very clean routine; 9.775

Alicia Opsahl - mounts on high bar; kip, cast to handstand 1/2-giant 1/2-straddle Jeager (form break); kip, cast to handstand 1/2-straddle back to handstand; giant-giant full-double tuck dismount with a step back; 9.6

Kelly Watson - mounts on high bar; kip, cast to handstand, straddle Jeager (great); kip, cast to handstand 1/2-giant-Shushunova-straddle back to handstand; giant full, giant, toe-on front tuck dismount; 9.775

MaryAnne Kelley - mounts with a hecht vault mount; back uprise to handstand, giant full-Tkachev (fall); straddle back to handstand (short); two giants to a BEAUTIFUL full-in dismount (perfect form, great height, and stuck); 9.125

Mary Skokut - straddle cut to high bar mount; back uprise to handstand immediate healy-healy-higgins-front giant 1/2-Shushunova-straddle back to handstand; two giants to a nice full-in dismount (two tiny steps); 9.65

Annie Laatsch - hecht vault mount; giant full-Tkachev (great)-straddle back to handstand (dropped RIGHT into handstand.. great ); giant to full-in dismount; (a little sloppy on the full-in, and a big step... but being 5'8", maybe even a little taller, her line is wonderful); 9.7

Exhibition:

Jenny Alf - she had a rough time with her routine here, not making it to handstand enough to hop to change grips and falling; overshoot; fell again pirouetting during a giant; double tuck dismount; 7.85

Leigh Dixon - jump to low bar handstand 1/2 turn; blind change-front giant 1/2-geinger-overshoot; giant full to double tuck (step); had some form problems througout, but otherwise hit her skills; 9.475

 

BALANCE BEAM

Alicia Opsahl - roundoff onto the board, back handspring mount; bhs (2 feet)-bhs (2 feet)-layout stepout; wolf jump-back dive 1/4 to hs; wolf jump full; switch leap-straight jump full turn; roundoff-double twist dismount; 9.825

Megan Beuckens - front tuck mount; front tuck; bhs-layout stepout; switch leap-straddle leap; wolf jump 3/4; bhs-layout gainered full dismount; 9.725

Mary Skokut - switch leap-wolf 3/4; bhs-bhs-layout stepout; beat jump-tuck jump full turn; wolf jump; cartwheel-layout gainered full dismount; 9.8

Annie Laatsch - splits mount (a la Dawes, except Annie's legs cover much more beam ); bhs-layout stepout (fall); straight jump 1 1/2 turn crosswise - really cool skill; front handspring; Korbut; wolf jump-switch leap full; gainered layout full dismount; 9.375!

MaryAnne Kelley - splits mount (slightly different from Laatsch's ); gainered bhs-layout stepout; outward 1 1/2 turn with leg horizontal; split jump-front tuck; gainered layout (wobble); roundoff-double twist dismount; expressive choreography; 9.7

 Jenny Alf - still recovering from an injury; watered down her routine... didn't do her mount (usually a layout stepout); bhs-bhs (usually adds a layout stepout on the end); switch leap-switch leap 1/2; wolf jump-back dive 1/4 to hs; cartwheel-gainered layout (usually adds a full twist); 9.3

Jana Gallagher - press to handstand, lower down; bhs-bhs-layout stepout (fall); switch leap-switch leap 1/4; straddle leap to what could maybe be called a dive to handstand 3/4 that ends in a stag position? it was a little sloppy, yet really cool; wolf jump full; gainered layout full dismount; 9.25

Sara Dumich - split leap-wolf jump full; bhs-layout stepout (wobble); switch leap 3/4; wolf jump-back dive 1/4 to hs; gainered front layout full off the side.

Lauren Newcomb - front double full (little short, but nice!); double tuck; whip 1/2-front layout-front pike; 9.75

Ashley Williams - double pike; fhs-rudi; fhs-front layout-barani-shushunova; 9.725

Jana Gallagher - I had to chuckle when I heard Destiny's Child's "Jumpin' Jumpin'" as part of her floor music; double pike; double tuck; fhs-front layout-front tuck; 9.5

Carolyn Yernberg - great choreography- she has a great feel for her music; front through to double tuck; whip 1/2-front layout (sloppy - she usually does a whip 1/2 to two front layouts to a front tuck, but had to stop because she was really off); double twist; 9.55

Megan Beuckens - front through to double tuck; whip 1/2-front layout (I believe she usually adds a full); double twist; 9.725

Alicia Opsahl - double pike; whip 1/2-front layout full (only got 1/2 around, stumbled the rest around); fhs-front layout-front layout - really plays to the judges and audience with her huge smile during the routine; 9.525

Annie Laatsch - uses I believe Elise Ray's version of Malaguena - whip through to double tuck; whip 1/2-front full; front layout-front tuck; 9.825

Courtney Norman - double layout; front through to double tuck (brushed hands down trying to avoid going out of bounds); fhs-bounder-front full; 9.425

MaryAnne Kelley - I cannot say enough about this routine - I can't stop watching it.  tucked full-in mount; whip 1/2-front full; whip-double twist; WOW for her...right Goph?  9.85
