VAULT Minnesota - 48.525 Mary Skokut - tucked Phelps (9.9 SV); nice form, tiny hop; 9.625 Carrie Hortsch - front tuck (9.8 SV); nice form, good distance; showed nice opening before the landing; one small step; 9.675 Leigh Dixon - piked barani (10.0 SV); great height and distance, but has a slight straddle on the preflight; had too much power and took a large step backward; 9.75 MaryAnne Kelley - tucked barani (9.9 SV); nice form, she tucks a little early, but has a great kickout when she does the 1/2 turn; small hop back on the landing; 9.725 Courtney Norman - Phelps (10.0 SV); tons of power, but twists late (think Gina Gogean); keeps a great layout position throughout; hop forward on the landing; 9.75 Carolyn Yernberg - layout Tsuk full (10.0 SV); great height and distance, but she had an uncharacteristic form break in the air, was off, and took a couple steps backward; 9.625 Exhibition: Carrie Hortsch - tucked barani (9.9 SV) - nice form, great kickout to land - she was fully-rotated but didn't quite have the right landing, and fell backward; didn't catch the score (although I'm thinking 9.0 something) Stanford - 48.8 Katie Herbert - layout Yurchenko (9.8 SV) - piked down, step back; 9.55 Marla Ranieri - tucked Phelps (9.9 SV) - great distance, not a lot of height; small step back; 9.625 Mandy Delgado - piked barani (10.0 SV); nicely done - not overly explosive, but done really well; tiny hop; 9.75 Kendall Beck - Yurchenko full (10.0 SV) - Yurchenko full; slight form issue, piked down; small hop back; 9.8 Caroline Fluhrer - Hristakieva (10.0 SV) - really nicely done; maintains a nice layout position; big step forward (overrotated), really powerful vault; 9.85 Shelly Goldberg - piked barani (10.0 SV) - I really like her technique, as she doesn't grab her legs at all and it looks really cool; came up a little short, but a really nice vault; 9.775 UNEVEN BARS Minnesota - 49.225 Megan Beuckens - straddle vault mount; front giant, healy, front giant 1/2 (tiny foot form break), overshoot; giant, full-in dismount with a small hop; 9.825 Alicia Opsahl - mounts on high bar; cast to handstand 1/2, giant 1/2, huge straddled Jeager; straddle back to handstand; giant, giant full, giant, double tuck, nearly stuck. (I don't believe she planned the giant after the giant full); 9.7 MaryAnne Kelley - hecht vault mount, back uprise, giant full (not fully completed in handstand) immediate Tkachev (big), straddle back to handstand; giant, giant, full-in (beautiful, nearly stuck); 9.875 Kelly Watson - mounts on high bar; beautiful Jeager; cast to handstand 1/2, giant, Shushunova; straddle back to handstand (a little short of handstand); arched and fought to stay on the right side of the bar); toe-on front tuck 1/2 dismount; 9.7 Lindsay Wing - hecht vault mount; back uprise 1/1-Geinger (has trouble keeping her feet together on the uprise); kip-cast-overshoot (she caught her Gienger funny, I'm thinking she might be trying to connect it to the overshoot); giant, giant 1/2, double front dismount (large step forward); 9.7 Katie Herbert - straddle vault mount; Tkachev; healy, healy, straddle back (a little short of handstand); toe-on shoot to high bar; double tuck dismount (a couple form issues), stuck; 9.8 Becky Meldrum - straddle vault mount; giant full-giant full-Gienger; kip, cast to handstand 1/2 (not completed in handstand; form break), giant 1/2, front giant 1/2, straddle back to handstand (nicely done); tries a straddle cut to high bar, but gets stuck and takes a fall after two attempts of getting it around; whip 1/2-front full mount; double pike - she does something weird with her foot, but I couldn't tell at first if it was choreography or if she was a step - I decided that it's choreography; front layout-front tuck (I'm thinking she planned two front layouts);
