Meet report derived from the broadcast on Fox Sports Northwest.  As always, + denote direct combinations on FX.  Connected elements on other events are spaced with commas.  Semicolons indicate gaps in skills listed, which are usually A level and nonvalue skills.  Common abbreviations include:  bhs= backhandspring, hs=handstand, lo=layout, ro is roundoff, etc

You'll get the idea...

The Utah Utes embarked on a long road swing by meeting the Huskies on this date.  Despite some troubles on the floor, the Utes scored the road win easily.  The Utes are looking as sharp as ever, with the precision, form and lines that are hallmarks of the Utah program.  This team perhaps is suffering a bit on depth (the roster is small, but talented) but the execution is there.  Likely because of the numbers problem, the Utes are being a little more conservative with certain things like UB dismounts.  These dismounts were set to be upgraded later in the season.

The Huskies have made remarkable progress after losing 4+ gymnasts at the start of the season, including three AAers.  The coaching staff has certainly maximized the output of the young squad, with just one upperclassman on the competing roster.  To nearly every gymnast, the Huskies have improved their skill level and execution on all events.
