Jaida Lawrence, a L10 from NEGX, has committed to West Virginia. At the recent Region 6 L10 Regionals, she finished 2nd AA and 1st on VT in the Senior B division. She also tied for 39th AA at the 2010 JO Nationals and was 32nd AA and 4th(t) on VT at the 2009 JO Nationals.

West Virginia has promoted current Associate Head Coach Jason Butts to be the new Head Coach at WVU. He replaces Linda Burdette-Good, who is retiring. He was named the Regional Assistant of the Year in 2009 and 2010. A graduate of UGA, he will receive a master's from WVU in December.

Stacie Webb has committed to Southern Utah, according to a site submission. At the recent 2011 Region 1 L10 Regionals, she placed 11th AA, 2nd on VT and 2nd on BB in the Senior A division. At the 2010 L10 Nationals, she tied for 38th AA and 4th on BB. The prior year, she placed 2nd AA at the Level 8 Regional meet.
Jillian Chappel, L10 at Ace in Florida, has committed to Kentucky for the 2012-13 season. This season she finished 4th AA at her State Meet and 4th AA at Regionals.

Amanda Willingham, Ruidoso Gymnastics in New Mexico, Level 9 -finished 4th AA at the New Mexico State Meet and 13th AA at Regionals. VideoKikiParenteau, L10 at Flips in Minnesota, has verbally committed to Southern Utah according to her club's website. Highlights of her 2011 season include a 3rd place AA finish at the Rising Stars meet, 4th AA at the Winter Challenge and 6th AA at the Lady Luck meet. She recently finished 7th AA at her state meet and 6th AA at regionals.
Arizona has announced that it has signed Canadian National Team Member Kristin Klarenbach for the 2011-12 season. Klarenbach, who competes for Champions Gymnastics in Edmonton, brings national and international experience in World Cup events, the Commonwealth Games and Canadian Championships. She recently finished 13th AA (2nd V; 4th BB; 5th FX) at the Wild Rose.
Kent State Head Coach Brice Biggin was named Coach of the Year and assistants Sharon Sabin and Tom Ward were named Assistants of the Year by the NACGC/W.

Washington has announced the addition of two walkons for 2011-2012: Madison Kratzke and Doris Lynk. Both reportedly turned down scholarships to walk on to the Huskies.
Kratzke is a L10 from Seattle Gymnastics Academy. At the 2011 Region II L10 Regionals held this past weekend, she placed 3rd AA, 1st on BB and 2nd on VT in the Senior C division. She placed 12th AA and 4th(t) on VT at Regionals in 2010 and 5th AA, 2nd(t) on UB and 1st on VT in 2009.
Lynk, a L10 from Desert Lights, tied for 18th AA at the 2011 Region I L10 Regionals, after finished 3rd AA at her State meet. She was also 18th AA in 2010.

Centenary has added Leviticus Knighten for 2011-2012. Knighten trains as a L10 at Coast Elite in Florida. At the recent Region VIII L10 Regionals, she placed 6th AA and 3rd on FX in the Senior D group, earning a trip to the JO Nationals. As a L9 in 2010, she won the BB and placed 9th AA at the Level 9 Eastern Nationals.

Allison Northey has committed to Washington for 2012-2013, according to her club's web site. Northey recently claimed the VT, UB and AA titles at the 2011 Region II L10 Regionals. In 2010, she placed 27th AA at the L10 Nationals, Jr. D division. The prior year, she tied for 5th on BB and placed 36th AA.

Kailie Ponto is headed to Oregon State next fall, according to her club. Ponto competed just two events at Regionals this past weekend, after missing most of the season. She was 33rd AA at the 2010 L10 Nationals, Senior B. In 2009, she won the L10 National title on BB and placed 24th AA.
