Minnesota has announced that Megan Alvarez (IGI) and Alexandra Feeken (LaFleur’s Tampa) will be joining the team in the fall of 2010, each having signed acceptance of Admission forms. Alverez finished 16th AA, 9th BB at her '09 regional meet. Feeken placed 9th BB, 13th V at her '09 regional meet.
Stacey Sorensen has committed to SUU, according to a site submssion. She's a L10 at Cypress. Her twin sister Haley is also a gymnast and is not yet committed. At the 2009 Region III L10 Regionals, she placed 15th AA.

Central Michigan has announced the signing of three gymnastics for 2010-2011: Emily Heinz, Brittany Petzold, and Alyssa Wilson. The commits of Wilson and Heinz were covered in prior news items.
Petzold is a L10 who trains at Olympia Gymnastics. At the 2009 Region V L10 Regionals, she placed 10th AA, earning a spot at the NIT meet.

Stephanie Giameo has committed to Maryland for 2011-2012, according to a site submission. She's a L10 who trains at ENA Paramus (NJ). At the 2009 L10 Nationals, she placed 42nd AA in the Junior C division.

Kaitlyn Clark has committed to Alabama according to an announcement on her web page. Clark, an International Elite at Precision in California, placed 10th AA at the '09 Nationals Championships.

Colleen Mulcahy, L10 from Arena Gymnastics in Joliet, Illinois, has committed to the University of Missouri for the 2012 season. She placed 15th AA (10th UB) in the Jr C session of 2009 JO Nationals.
Bri Hogan of the Geddart's Twistars has committed to Pittsburgh for 2011-2012, according to a site submission. The L10 placed 18th(t) and 10th(t) UB in the Junior C division at the 2009 L10 Nationals.

Allie Flores has committed to Arizona, according to a site submission. Flores is a L10 who trains at IGI. At the 2009 Region V L10 Regionals, she placed 17th AA, 4th on VT and 3rd(t) on FX. She also placed 16th AA at the 2008 Region V L10 Regionals, Jr. C.
LSU has added Mexican National Team Member Ericka Garcia to their squad for 2010. She is a veteran of two World Championships, a Pan Am Games and numerous international competitions. Most recently, she placed 5th AA at the Hungarian Grand Prix event last month. She also won a Gold on VT and Bronze on BB at the Joaquim Blume World Cup event in 2008.

Nikki McGarel from Phenom Gymnastics, Illinois, has committed to Illinois for the 2011-2012 season.
Melanie Shaffer (Pleasant Hills, Pa.), Victoria Aepli (Dublin, Ohio), and Alexandra DeLuca (Longwood, Fla.), will join Ohio State for the 2010-2011 season. The commits of all three were covered in prior news items.
Sarena Bumbarger (Seminole, Fla.), Laura Jollie (St. Paul, Minn.), Dani Levy (New Port Richey, Fla.) and Kelsey Mazur (LaGrange, Ill.) signed Letters of Intent with MSU last week. They'll debut in the 2010-2011 season. The commits of all four were covered in prior news items.
