2009-2010: Kantecki to Illinois - Greg @ 11:36 pm PST
Jaclyn Kantecki has committed to Illinois, according to a site submission. Kantecki is a L10 who trains at Naperville Gymnastics (IL) and competed last season for Aerials (IL). She was the 8th place AA finisher at the 2008 L10 Nationals, Senior B division, notching ties for fifth on FX and 9th on UB at the event. She also finished 24th AA at the 2007 L10 Nationals. 2009-2010: Rogers to Washington - Greg @ 1:19 pm PST
Lauren Rogers has committed to Washington, according to a site submission and an interview on TV station WBRE. The L10 trains at Northeast gymnastics in Pennsylvannia. At the 2008 L10 Nationals, she tied for 1st on the Vault and 5th AA in the Senior C group. She also finished 11th AA and 4th(t) on VT at the 2007 L10 Nationals. US Women's Olympic Team Named - Greg @ 5:09 pm PST
Joining Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin is former Brown star Alicia Sacramone. The remainder of the starting six are Chellsie Memmel, Samantha Peszek and Bridget Sloan. Three alternates, Ivana Hong, Jana Bieger and Corrie Lothrop were also named. Link: NBC Olympics Web Site

2009-2010: Weinstein to Illinois - Greg @ 4:54 pm PST
Alina Weinstein has committed to Illinois, according to a site submission. Weinstein is a L10 and former international elite who trains at Arena gymnastics in NJ. Most recently, at the 2008 L10 Nationals, Senior B division, she tied for 11th AA. She also competed three events at the 2007 L10 Nationals, after winning the Region VII AA, UB and FX titles. 2009-2010: Westrick to SEMO - Greg @ 4:48 pm PST
Taylor Westrick of Salto has committed to SEMO, according to a site submission. Westrick is a three-time state all-around champion from Wisconsin at
Level 10, and was third AA and second on beam in the Region 4 Level 10 meet this year, Senior A. She finished 19th AA at the 2008 Level 10 Nationals, tying for 10th on the balance beam. She was also 40th AA and 8th(t) on BB at the 2007 L10 Nationals. Link: YouTube.com Video

2009-2010: Breazeal to UGA - Greg @ 9:34 am PST
Kati Breazeal has reported committed to Georgia for 2009-2010. Breazeal is a WOGA-trained L10 who exhibits long lines. At the 2008 L10 Nationals, Sr. B division, she tied for 17th AA and 10th on FX. At the 2007 Nationals, she was the Junior D L10 National UB champ, placing 23rd in the AA. Link: Video on YouTube.com

2009-2010: Dayton to Stanford - Greg @ 9:25 am PST
Nicole Dayton of the Geddart's Twisters has reportedly committed to Stanford, after receiving her acceptance. The L10 finished tied for 25th AA while placing 3rd on VT and 6th(t) on FX at the 2008 L10 Nationals, Sr. A. In 2007, she placed 7th AA, 3rd(t) on UB, 7th(t) on FX and 1st on VT. 2009-2010: Adrian to Pittsburgh - Greg @ 8:58 am PST
Alyssa Adrian has committed to Pitt for 2009-2010, according to a site submission. She's a L10 who trains at Superior in NC. She placed 18th AA and 5th on UB at the 2008 Region VIII L10 Regionals, Senior A division. She was injured in 2007 and was a 2006 Region VIII Regional qualifier. Video at YouTube.com

2008-2009: Sac State Signs Boyce - Greg @ 4:14 pm PST
Sacramento State has signed Cayla Boyce in a late signing. Boyce is a L10 who trains at Idaho Falls Gymnastics. Returning from injury in 2007, she placed 15th AA, and tied for 6th on BB and 7th on FX at the L10 Nationals, Sr. C group. In 2006, she tied for 15th AA and 8th on FX at the L10 Nationals, Jr. D group. Link: School Release

2009-2010: Goldschrafe to WVU - Greg @ 11:18 pm PST
Chelsea Goldschrafe has committed to West Virginia, according to a site submission. She's a L10 who trains at Northstars. At the 2008 L10 Nationals, she tied for 19th AA, as well as placing 2nd AA and 1st on BB at the Region VII L10 Regionals. She was also 23rd AA at the 2007 L10 Nationals, Senior A division. 2009-2010: Garcia to Auburn - Greg @ 10:29 pm PST
Caryln "Toi" Garcia has committed to AU for 2009-2010, according to a site submission. She's a L10 at Docksiders who missed much of the 2006-2007 season due to a leg injury. In 2008, she made a resounding comeback with a 5th place AA and 2nd place FX finish at the L10 Nationals. Link: YouTube.com Video

2009-2010: Rosenzweig to Cal - Greg @ 8:57 am PST
Arla Rosenzweig has committed to Cal for 2009-2010, according to the Palo Alto Daily News. The Level 10 trains at Airborne Gymnastics in Santa Clara. The 2008 L10 State Co-Champion on the FX, she placed 14th AA at the 2008 Region I L10 Regionals. She also tied for 1st AA at the 2006 Level 9 NorCal State Championships. Link: Article
