2009-2010: Adams to Centenary

Brittany Adams has signed with Centenary, according to a school release. Adams, a L10 at Oshkosh, placed 52nd at the 2009 L10 Nationals, Sr. C. She missed the 2008 season with an Achilles tear. Link: Centenary Release

2010-2011: Shumaker to UC Davis

Anna Shumaker has committed to UC Davis for 2010-2011, according to a site submission. The L10 trains at Pacific West Gymnastics. At the 2009 L10 Nationals, she placed 14th AA in the Senior B division. As a L9 in 2008, she placed 1st AA, 1st on VT, 1st on UB, 1st on FX and 2nd on BB at the Level 9 Western Nationals, Sr. B. 2010-2011: Caldemeyer to Stanford

Lauren Caldemeyer has committed to Stanford, according to her family. The Deveau-trained L10 finished 5th(t), 2nd on VT, 2nd(t) on BB and 7th(t) on FX at the 2009 L10 Nationals, Sr. B. She was also 13th AA and 5th on VT at the 2008 Region V L10 Regionals. Link: YouTube.com Channel

Summer Site Renovation

CollegeGymFans.com is undergoing a massive overhaul this summer. In fact, the entire site is being rebuilt from the ground up. Coming this fall will be a host of new features, including:
* All new external and internal design, with dynamic and user configurable features
* Searchable recruits database with more information on each athlete
* Real-time news updates from official team sites
* Expanded content, including featured blogs
* An external article links and results database
* Expanded site search and archives
* Smoother integration with Twitter updates
* An interactive community with expanded user profiles

-- Linked videos and user photo galleries
-- Integration with Facebook
This is our first major overhaul in eight seasons. We are seeking Beta testers for the new site, as well as photo contributors, blog authors, and other roles to be announced. Beta testing will commence in about 10 days.
