USA Gymnastics Championships: Women's Day 1

Simone Biles was dominant on the first day of the USA Gymnastics Championships, posting the highest scores on every event and hitting for a 60.1 in the AA.  The Olympic Champion has a 3.1 point lead over the reigning World Champion, Florida commit Morgan Hurd.

 Florida commit Riley McCusker was third while Utah commit Grace McCallum was 4th.  Florida frosh Trinity Thomas was 5th while Florida commit Shilese Jones was 6th.  Oregon State signee Jade Carey was 7th.  Michigan commit Alyona Shchennikova tied for 9th with Bama commit Shania Adams and OU commit Ragan Smith. 

UCLA commit Jordan Chiles was 12th while UCLA frosh Margzetta Frazier was 13th.  OU commit Audrey Davis was 14th, while Florida commit Sloane Blakely was 15th.  Completing the top 18 (those competing four events) were Maddie Johnston (PSU, 16th), Luisa Blanco (17th, Bama), and Olivia Dunne (18th, LSU). 

In the Junior Division, Leanne Wong took the lead with a strong 56.4 AA total.  UB standout and AU commit Sunisa Lee is 2nd.  Kayla Di Cello is third.
