Boise State 195.25 at SUU 195.45

SUU knocked off Boise State by 0.2 on Friday night.  Frosh Memory Shettles led the way, winning vault and BB.  Teammate Natalie Trejo tied with Boise State's Ciera Perkins for the FX title. SUU's Alyssa Click tied for the UB title with Boise State's Kelsey Black and Diana Mejia.

DU 196.55 at BYU 196.425

DU took advantages of some problems by BYU on FX to take the win.  Jorie Hall tied a career best with a 9.925 for a win on BB.   BYU's Raquel Willman Hatch won the AA with a 39.425, a career high.  BYU posted 10 career highs on the night.

Bama 196.825 at LSU 197.65

LSU's Lloimincia Hall gathered a 10 on FX to pace the Tigers over Bama, propelled by 49.55+ tallies on the leg events.  Teammate Rheagan Courville posted a 9.975 on VT en route to a 39.5 AA win.  Teammate Sarie Morrison won the UB.  Bama's Kim Jacob took the BB, the only event Bama won as a team.

UW Stout 182.325 at Hamline 180.425

Hamline's Kambria Blakely won the VT and FX and teammate Courtney Benson won the AA but it wasn't enough to offset Stout's depth.

Taryn Vanderpool posted a 38.975 to win the AA and tied for the BB title as SEMO scored a tri-meet win.  Teammate Taylor Penzien and Lindenwood's Rachel Zabawa also tied for the BB title.  SEMO's Megan Fosnow won the UB with a career high while frosh teammate Chelsi Hamilton contributed a win on FX.  Zabawa also won the VT.

Pitt 193.875 at UNC 194.8

Haley Watts of UNC won the VT and AA to pace her squad to the win.  Tar Heel Lexi Cappalli won the FX.  Teammates Michelle Ikoma and Janell Sargent won the UB and BB, respectively.

UW-La Crosse posted a big 185.925 to win its Gershon/McLellan Invitational.  Wisconsin-La Crosse's Kari Willett, Kendall Westrich and Ali Berry won VT, BB and FX,  respectively.  Wisconsin's Leane Blais won the UB.  Oshkosh's Krystal Walker was the top AAer.

OU 197.225 at Florida 197.775

In an early season showdown, UF defeated #1 OU by 0.55.  Bridget Sloan and Kytra Hunter led UF.  The pair of NCAA Champions split the VT title, while Hunter won the FX with a perfect 10.  Sloan won the UB and BB en route to a 39.75 AA tallly.

BGSU 194.15 at Ball State 193.025

Ball State's Denaisha Christian won the VT and FX but it wasn't enough as BGSU scored the road win.   For BGSU, Alyssa Nocella won the UB while teammate Lauren Feely bested her in the AA.  Sam Santos of Ball State won the BB.

AU 196.1 at Arkansas 196.55

Auburn earned its first ever win in Fayetteville as the Tigers knocked off host Arkansas.  The Tigers were paced by wins from frosh MJ Rott on VT and Caitlin Atkinson on UB.  Arkansas' Katherine Grable took the BB, FX and AA (39.575)

MSU 193.9 at Michigan 196.8

Joanna Sampson (UB) and Austin Sheppard (VT) posted 9.975s to pace Michigan to a big win over MSU.  Sampson won the UB, BB and tied for the FX title with frosh teammate Nicole Artz en route to a 39.65 AA win.  Sheppard won VT.

2015-16 West to Pitt

Brittany West, L10 at Brandy Johnson's in Florida, has committed to Pitt.  This season she has competed at the Atlanta Crown (9th AA) and the Texas Prime (4th AA).  Brittany qualified to JOs in 2012 and she competed in regionals last season while competed for Legacy Elite in Illinois.

OU leads the the Men's National Rankings from Troester GymInfo for the week of January 27th.  Michigan is 2nd.

Stanford's Akash Modi is the top AAer.

OU holds down the top spot in the GymInfo National Rankings for the week of January 7th.   With a big weekend, Florida closed the gap.  LSU is in third, as all three teams are averaging over a 197.  Florida leads the BB and FX.  Utah leads the VT while UGA leads the UB.

Individually, LSU's Rheagan Courville is the top AAer.   Florida's Bridget Sloan leads on VT, while Utah's Georgia Dabritz holds the top spot on UB.  Bama's Diandra Milliner holds the top spot on FX.  On BB, UCLA's Samantha Peszek and Danusia Francis are tied with Florida's Mackenzie Caquatto and OU's McKenzie Wofford.

Temple 188.1 at Alaska 190.15

UAA was paced by Stefany Bryan's AA win. She posted a career-high 38.15.  Teammates Morgan Cook and Kallie Randolph won the VT and FX, respectively.  UAA's Simone Penker tied with Temple's Reagan Oliveri for the UB title.  Temple's Alexis Arena won the BB.

Bridgeport claimed the quad meet win, holding off host Brown.  Lissette LaFex led Bridgeport, winning the AA with a 38.825.  Teammate Sasha Tsikhanovich won the floor while teammates Kamri Riles and Kim Stewart shared the VT crown.  Brown's Alexandra Chretien won the UB while teammate Allison Rubenstein won the BB.
