Transfer: McMillan to Missouri

Jennifer McMillan has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Missouri.  She spent the last four seasons at Oregon State.

Transfer: Achampong to Stanford

Ondine Achampong, the 2024 British Champion and National Team Member, will transfer to Stanford for next season.  She has been at Cal the last two seasons, but missed this past season with a partially re-torn ACL suffered just prior to the start of the season.  She competed primarily on BB her first season, while recovering from the initial ACL injury.

Transfer: Wiley to Stanford

Mya Wiley, who competed on VT and UB for Cal this past season, will transfer to Stanford for next season.   She competed her first two seasons across the Bay in Berkeley.  She has recorded career highs of 9.9 on VT and UB.

Giselle Guenther, a L10 from Cincinnati Gymnastics, has changed her commitment to Arkansas and will now also graduate in June and join Arkansas for 2026-2027.  Guenther was previously committed to Auburn.  She recently placed 3rd on VT and 7th AA at the Region 5 Level 10 Regionals.  She also qualified to the 2026 Nastia Liukin Cup.

2026-2027: Maye to Kentucky

Taylor Maye, a L10 from Jamjev, has committed to continue her athletic and academic career at Kentucky, starting in 2026-2027.  She recently placed 1st on BB, 3rd on VT, 4th on UB and 2nd AA at the Region 8 L10 Regionals.  She also swept the Alabama L10 State Championships, posting a career-high 38.5 AA.  She missed the 2025 season but placed 1st on VT, tied for 7th on FX, placed 10th on UB and 3rd AA at the 2024 Women's Development Program L10 Nationals.

Utah Hires Arkell as an Assistant

Utah has hired Steve Arkell as an assistant coach.  Arkell is a USA National Team coach with more than 40 years of experience and is head coach at Prime Gymnastics in Texas.

Pitt Promotes Funk to Associate Head Coach

Pitt has promoted Lexi Funk to Associate Head Coach.  She has been at Pitt for three season and was at CMU prior to that.  She was also a volunteer assistant at Michigan, and a two-time former team captain for the Wolverines.

Transfer: Bare to Maryland

Addison Bare, who had spent this past season at Arkansas, has accepted a full athletic scholarship offer to transfer to Maryland next season.  She trained at Prestige and did not compete for Arkansas this season.

Nebraska Head Coach Nicole Jones has Devin Wright as the Associate Head Coach at Nebraska.  Wright was an assistant at MSU and was a three-time WCGA Assistant Coach of the Year.  She was at MSU for four seasons, and prior to that, spent five years at the Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy.

2026-2027: Frazee to Bowling Green

Reagan Frazee, a L10 from Gym X-Treme, has committed to an athletic scholarship offer at BGSU, starting in 2026-2027.  She recently tied for 3rd on VT and placed 7th AA at the 2026 Region 5 L10 Regionals.  She also placed 3rd on VT, 3rd(t) on BB and 4th on FX at the 2024 Women's Development Program Level 9 Eastern Nationals.

Auburn has hired Adam Duncan and Sophia Davila (née Groth) as assistants.  Duncan has been a coach and clinician for over 17 years in the Dallas area.  He has coached WOGA, Empire and Kurt Thomas Gymnastics.  He has also worked in corporate finance since 2022 at Capital One.  Davila was a two-time All American at Auburn, where she competed from 2022 to 2025.  She has spent the past year working at SMU as an Athletics Development Assistant.

New AU Head Coach Ryan Roberts has named Aja Sims-Fletcher as Associate Head Coach.  Sims-Fletcher was most recently as assistant at Illinois, and prior to that, Head Coach at Talladega.  She was also an assistant at Alabama, where she was also a three-time All-American.

Brooke Reingold who had been previously committed to Auburn, has switched her commit to Georgia, starting in 2027-2028.   Her sister Autumn, is a Gym Dog.  A L10 at AIM Athletics, she recently placed 1st on UB, 1st(t) on FX, 2nd on VT, 3rd(t) on BB and 2nd AA (39.175) at the Region 3 L10 Regionals.

2026-2027: Coleman to Florida

Carsyn Coleman, a L10 and former junior elite who trains at Gymnastics Olympica USA, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Florida, starting in 2026-2027.  Most recently, she placed 3rd on VT and 5th on BB at the 2026 Region One L10 Regionals.  She also competed in elite qualifiers this season.  Last season, she tied for 2nd on FX and placed 12th AA at the 2025 Region One L10 Regionals.

Jordyn Wieber Brooks will step down at Arkansas after seven years at the helm.  She will step away from athletics and take the time to focus on her family and pursue other interests.  Her husband, Chris Brooks, will take over as Head Coach.

The NCAA Division I Board of Directors announced on Monday that it has directed its Division I Cabinet to advance talks on providing student-athletes with up to five years of eligibility, beginning the regular academic year after they turn 19 or graduate from high school, whichever happens earlier.  The Cabinet is set to meet next on May 22nd.  The proposal would not extended to the current 2025-2026 graduating athletes.  The athletes would have five years of eligibility in five years and would do away with redshirt or medical waivers.
