We are heading into our final weeks of the regular season, as Top 16 seedings, non "play in" positions (Top 28) and spots at Regionals (Top 36) are up for grabs.  As a reminder the rankings are based on the new National Qualifying System formula whereby the five lowest home scores are selected and combined with the away scores, the high and low discarded, the remaining averaged.  Because of the increasing number of meets, the impact of any individual meet means upward movement can be muted by the simple math of an increasing denominator  But a low scoring meet can also cause big changes, because in a change from the past, a low scoring meet can accelerate a team's downward movement.  OU remains #1, but LSU at #2 is just 0.07 behind.  After their big score on Sunday, Florida is #3, with Bama in 4th.  UCLA is 5th, just 0.062 ahead of UGA.  Here are this week's rankings, as compiled by RoadtoNationals.

By event, OU remains the leader on VT and BB and LSU continues to lead on FX.  Florida retains its lead on UB.  The battle for Regional placements was shaken up a bit with Florida moving ahead of Bama.  The Regional hosts are ASU, LSU, Kentucky, and Oregon State.  The Race for the last spot in Regionals is getting very tight, with #35 Ball State ahead of #40 Illinois by just 0.06 points.  However teams outside of that range are not yet out of the picture, but a low score could be very damaging at this point.

The individual rankings and qualifications to the post-season will use the old formula, whereby the three highest away scores are taken, then the next three highest scores, the high score tossed, and the remaining five averaged.  LSU's Kailin Chio retains her first place position in the AA, VT and BB.  Chloe LaCouriere of Bama retains the top spot on UB while Jordan Chiles of UCLA is still #1 on FX.
