Michigan continues to lead the Nation after the second week of competition, in the rankings as compiled by RoadToNatinoals.  Utah is 2nd, closely followed by Florida.  OU drops to fourth after problems on BB this week, with LSU in 5th.

Sac State 191.45 at UC Davis 194.075

UC Davis' Kyla Kessler won the AA with a 39.15 to lead the Aggies. She also won UB and tied for the VT title with frosh teammate Keanna Abraham. Aggie frosh Megan Ray won the FX. For the Hornets, Amber Koeth won BB.

Stanford 196.275 at Cal 196.325

Stanford's Kyla Bryant won the AA with a 39.675. She also won the UB, FX and tied for the BB title with Cal's Andi Li. Bear Nevaeh DeSouza won the VT.  A score inquiry on the last event was enough to push Cal to the win.  It was their highest ever opening score.

Alabama 196.925 at Florida 197.0

Florida used back to back 10s in the final rotation to finally overcome and defeat Bama.  Bama improved by more than a point from last week, as key gymnasts rejoined the lineup.  Florida's Trinity Thomas posted 10s on VT and FX to lead the Gators to the narrow win. Teammate Nya Reed added her own 10 on FX. Gator Megan Scaggs won the AA. Bama's Luisa Blanco won BB and tied for the UB title with teammate Makarri Doggette.

Ball State 195.675 at WMU 196.0

Host WMU held off Ball State for the MAC win.  For Ball State, Suki Pfister and Victoria Henry tied for first on VT while senior Lauren Volpe took the top spot on BB.

The Terps were led to the win in a super close tri-meet at Pitt by Audrey Barber, who won the UB and the AA with a 39.225. Teammate Josephine Kogler won the VT. For Pitt, Katie Chamberlain won BB and frosh teammate Sidney Washington took the FX.

NIU 194.15, SEMO 191.5 at Kent St 195.3

Kent St was led by Olivia Amodei, who tied for 1st on UB with teammate Sarah Haxton and on FX with NIU's Tara Kofmehl. Teammate Rachel DeCavitch won the AA while teammate Kyndall Gilbert won VT. SEMO's Anna Kaziska won BB.

Penn was led by wins from Kristen Kuhn on UB and Natalie Yang on BB. For GWU, Deja Chambliss won the AA with a 39.225, took the VT and tied for 1st on FX with teammate Kendall Whitman.

Jade Carey was spectacular in her debut, winning AA with a 39.65, winning VT (double twisting Yurchenko), UB (Maloney to Bharwaj, Van Leeuwen) and FX (double-double mount). She also tied for 1st on BB with teammate Jenna Domingo and Washington's Skylar Killough-Wilhelm

Michigan defended their title at the Windy City Invitational, posting a 398.5 tally.   Ohio State was 2nd at 387.7 and Illinois 3rd at 373.05.  GymAct club programs Iowa (346.0), Minnesota (338.50), NIU (309.55) and UIC (301.1) followed.  The Wolverines were led by David Willett, who won the AA with a 77.35.  They also picked up wins from Markus Shears on PH, Nicholas Guy on VT, Virgil Watkins on PB, Paul Juda on HB and Jacob Moore on FX.

Men's: West Point Open Event Finals

Here are the event winners at the West Point Open event finals:

OU edged Stanford 407.7 to 407.5 to take the Rocky Mountain Open title.  Nebraska was 3rd at 404.35, the ASU club 4th at 375.9 while the hosts posted a 323.25 for fifth.

OU was led by frosh Fuzzy Benas, who won the AA with an 83.8 and who also tied for the R title with Stanford frosh Mark Belaga.  Stanford picked up wins from Curran Phillips on VT, Blake Sun on PB and JR Chou on HB.  NU's Sam Phillips won the FX while teammate Charlie Giles won the PH.

BYU was led by Sadie Miner-Van Tassell, who won VT, BB and the AA with a 39.325. For Nebraska, Kinsey Davis won UB and Halle Rourke won FX.

Temple 194.525 Over Iowa State 194.075

Temple's Hannah Stallings won the AA (38.875) and Sarah Stallings tied for the UB title with ISU's Loganne Basuel to lead the Owls to the win at the Chow's Winter Classic. Basuel tied with teammate Meixi Semple for the BB title.  Cyclone Maddie Diab won FX while Cyclones Emilie Hong and Josie Bergstrom tied for the VT title.
