Florida easily defeated host WVU 195.9 to 194.425, led by junior Alicia Boren. Boren posted the highest ever opening meet AA score for a Gator, a 39.575, to win the event. She also won the FX and tied with Gators Rachel Gowey and frosh Alyssa Baumann for the BB title. Teammate Alex McMurtry won the VT and UB. The Gators got off to a slow start when senior Kennedy Baker could not finish her UB routine due to leg cramps. Later, they counted a major miss on FX.

Sidney Dukes won FX and teammate Alex Hyland won BB to lead the Wildcats to the win. Teammates Danaea Davis and Mollie Korth tied for the VT title, while UK's Cori Rechenmacher shared the UB title with Ball State's Maddie McDonald. GWU's Cami Drouin-Allaire won the AA with a 39.1.

Alabama 195.675 at Michigan 196.2. Michigan's Olivia Karas won the AA with a 39.35 and won FX. Bama's Kiana Winson won UB and BB while teammate Nikki Guerrero took the VT.

The season is right around the corner, and with the new year, a new set of capsule Season Previews of the Top 25, as ranked by the Coaches' Preseason Poll. In each Preview, we've summarized the team's returning routines, their missing routines, the returning starters and the rest of their roster, including their newcomers. We'll also give a brief overview preview of each squad.
Yale Head Coach Barbara Tonry has announced that James Williams has been hired as an assistant. He's a former club coach at AIM Athletics, JPAC, and Stars Houston.

OU tops the Women's Preseason Coaches' Poll, with 33 first place points. Florida is 2nd with 20 first place votes and LSU is 3rd with 7 first place votes. Bama is 4th, Utah is fifth, and UCLA is 6th.
OU leads the Men's Preseason Coaches' Poll, with 14 first place votes. Stanford is 2nd, with 2 first place votes.
EMU has hired Danielle Guider as an assistant. The former Mizzou gymnast has most recently served as a coach at Triad and as a voluntary assistant at Iowa State.

Utah's Sabrina Schwab has taken a medical retirement due to persistent injuries.
Ashley Kerr has been named volunteer coach at OU. She is a former Florida gymnast and she has worked in various administrative and support capacities.
