The women's National Rankings as compiled by Troester GymInfo switch to the Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) this week, and as expected, we're seeing a lot of change in the rankings.  The RQS is calculated by taking the teams top THREE (3) AWAY meet scores, taking the next THREE (3) scores (home or away), tossing out the HIGHEST and averaging the remaining five.

Rising to the top this week is Oklahoma, followed closely by Florida.  Michigan is in third.  The standings are extremely close in ranks 15 to 25 -- just 0.38 of a point separates all those teams.   Over the next several weeks, you will see a lot of movement in the rankings as teams drop out low scores.  The top 36 qualify to Regionals, and that race is tight as well.  The Top 18 are seeded, and it will be a toss-up heading into the final weeks.

Individually, UCLA's Vanessa Zamarripa remains the top AAer.  She's also tied with LSU's Lloimincia Hall for the top spot on floor.  Utah's Tory Wilson remains the leader on vault, and UGA's Chelsea Davis holds the top spot on bars.  On beam, OU's Taylor Spears leads the way.
