Stanford rebounded from last week's loss to Cal to make a statement with a 364.4 NCAA-high tally. The preseason number one team, Stanford was led by Josh Dixon, who won FX and tied for first on PB with teammate Ryan Lieberman and Cal's Dennis Mannhart. Mannhart tied for AA honors with teammate Glen Ishino, who won also won HB. Stanford built its biggest margin of victory on FX and PH.

OU won all six events as a team as the amassed an impressive 358.35. Jake Dalton of OU won the VT (16.55), PB, HB and AA (90.75) to lead the Sooners. Steven Legendre added a 16.25 on FX while Ohio State's Brandon Wynn notched a 15.9 on Rings.

Illinois defeated host Minnesota and NU Saturday evening. Illini Paul Ruggeri won the HB (with a 16.1), PB and tied with teammate Tyler Mizoguchi on the FX. Mizoguchi also won the AA with a 87.2.

Iowa rolled to 342 points to easily defeat UIC. Iowa won every individual event and had 19 gymnastics place in the top five. Mike Jiang, a senior, captured PB and HB for Iowa.

Air Force posted a big 330 points to easily defeat Army. Air Force swept the top four spots on FX, PH and HB. Nash Mills of the Air Force won the VT and the AA to lead the Falcons.

Cornell won the Brockport Invitational with a 190.425. SCSU was 2nd with a 186.725, Brockport 3rd at 186.125 and Springfield 4th with a 177. Cornell's Melanie Jorgensen won the AA, while teammates Maddie Pearsall and Melanie Standridge picked up wins on VT and BB, respectively. Justine Basley of SCSU won the UB while Brockport's Kaitlin Dewey won the FX.

Utah defeated host Nebraska, 196.2 to 194.75, spoiling the Husker's home opener. Frosh Corrie Lothrop won the AA and shared the BB title with fellow frosh Mary Beth Lofgren. Teammate Stephanie McCallister won the UB. NU's Erin Davis won the VT while teammate Lora Evenstad won the FX.

PSU defeated Michigan by posting a 350.4. Thomas Kelley won HB and AA for Michigan, but PSU built a big 2.7 advantage on Rings, led by winner Scott Rosenthal.

UNH posted a 194.475 but it was not enough to overcome Penn State's 195.275. PSU's Sharaya Musser posted a 39.4 to win the AA, capturing the VT and sharing the BB title with UNH's Chelsea Steinberg. Teammate Madison Merriam won the UB and FX.

Air Force defeated visiting SPU 191.475 to 190.425. For Air Force, Brittany Dutton won UB and Samantha Jones won the FX. SPU was led by Anissa Madrid, who won the BB and the AA. Teammate Sherah Veron won the VT.
