Men's Gymnastics Kicks Off 2018 with Rocky Mountain Open
The 11th-ranked Air Force men's gymnastics team kicks off the 2018 season this weekend, when it hosts its annual Rocky Mountain Open on Saturday, Jan. 13. The Falcons will welcome four collegiate-level teams, one club and members from the U.S. Olympic Training Center to the Cadet West Gymnasium for the 6:00 p.m. (MT) match.
Levan Sisauri Named to Men’s Gymnastics Coaching Staff
The Air Force men’s gymnastics team recently finalized its coaching staff with the hiring of assistant coach Levan Sisauri. The Falcons’ newest assistant coach brings a wealth of knowledge to the Academy, both as a coach and international competitor.
In fourth place after four events, the Army West Point Gymnastics pulled ahead of William & Mary 318.45-316.00 in the fifth event and held on in the final events to place third (380.35-395.06) at the 27th Annual West Point Open Friday evening at Christl Arena.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Illinois men's and women's gymnastics programs held their annual Orange and Blue Exhibition Saturday at Huff Gym. The Orange Team earned a narrow victory by way of a "stick-off" tiebreaker, as the two teams were locked at 10 through four rotations.
Youth Leads Navy Gymnastics to Standout Event Finals
The Navy gymnastics team capped a strong opening weekend of action on Saturday night in the event finals of the West Point Open as the Mids recorded 11 top-six results. One night after finishing second in the team event, Navy came back and performed at a high level again at Christl Arena. Underclassmen Tanner West (So., Cypress, Texas) and David Toussaint (Fr., Warren, Ohio) led the Mids’ effort as each of the gymnasts notched two top-six podiums. West had the best individual result of the night with a victory on the vault.
Strong Effort at West Point Open Kicks off 2018 Season
The Navy men’s gymnastics team opened its 2018 campaign with an emphatic performance at the 27th Annual West Point Open. Taking on a six-team field, the Mids posted a score of 395.05 to place second overall, trailing just the No. 7 Penn State Nittany Lions, who recorded a meet-high 406.85 points. A complete team effort highlighted the Mids’ effort on Friday night at Christl Arena as 10 different Navy gymnasts finished amongst the top-10 on the six individual apparatuses.
