Host Bama defeated Kentucky in front of 14,870 fans. Junior Katie Bailey led the Tide, winning the AA with a 39.475 and winning a share of the titles on BB and FX. She tied on BB with teammate Keely McNeer and UK's Sidney Dukes. On BB, teammates Aja Sims and Mackenzie Valentin shared honors. The Tide's Lauren Beers won VT with a 9.95 while Mackenzie Brannan won the UB.

Sela Fadness won the FX to lead the Pipers to its first win of the season. Kaylee Jondahl led UW Stout, winning the AA with a 37.625, including a win on VT and a tie for first on UB with teammate Kelly Huseman. Huseman won the BB as well.

UW La Crosse won the Gershon/McLellan Invitational, triumphing over Winona State and UW Eau Claire. Samantha Wiekamp posted a 36.95 to win the AA for UW La Crosse. Teammate Lauren Wilson won the UB, while Dani Barmore won the BB. Teammate Elsa Spitzmueller took the FX. Winona State's Jade Donaldson took the VT title to prevent a sweep.

OU just missed the 198 mark but still bagged a big road score in a win over AU, Illinois State and TWU. OU's Chayse Capps had a career day, winning BB with a 10, FX with a 9.975 and tying for the UB title with teammate Keeley Kmieciak at 9.9. She posted a 39.775. Teammate Haley Scaman won the VT.

UGA upset visiting UF, paced by Brandie Jay and Brittany Rogers. The pair tied for AA homors at 39.375. Neither team excelled on BB, with UGA posting a 48.45 and UF a 48.675. However, mistakes on FX proved costly for the Gators.
Jay also tied for the UB title with UF's Alex McMurtry. Rogers shared the FX title with teammates GiGi Marino and Mary Beth Box. McMurtry also took the VT. UF's Bridget Sloan won the BB.

Iowa State's Haylee Young won the FX and led a trio of ISU AAers with a 39.275 to pace the Cyclones to a home win over WVU. Teammate Meaghan Sievers added a win on UB. WVU's Zaakira Muhammad won the VT, while teammate Jordan Gillette took the BB.

EMU set a new school record in a home win over cross-state rival CMU. Numerous career highs we set along the way. EMU was led by Lacey Rubin, who won the UB. CMU's Kasey Janowicz won the AA with a 39.275, taking titles on VT and BB. Teammate Taylor Bolender won the FX.

Riley McCusker, Jr. Elite from MG Elite, has announced her commitment to Florida. She recently swept her session of the PKI. In 2014 she won her state and regional meets and four individual event titles over the two meets. She placed 30th AA at JOs.
Amara Cunningham, L10 from Galaxy Gymnastics, has committed to Temple. She competed three events at her 2015 state meet and won the vault title. She competed two events at regionals. This season she's out of the gates with an early season win at the Baloon Classic (1st V/UB), an AA win at the Pinky Stone meet (1st FX), an AA win at the Little Boston Invitational (1st V/FX) and an AA win at the Manhattan Classic (1st V/UB/FX).
Abby Paulson, Jr. Elite from Twin Cities Twisters in Minnesota, has announced her commitment to Utah. She has made a number of trips to Secret Classic and the P&G Championships. Last season she placed 5th on bars at the Secret Classic and 11th AA at the P&G Championships.

OU is the top squad in the Men's CGA National Rankings for the week of February 2nd. Stanford is 2nd and Ohio State is 3rd.
Host Cal defeated UCLA for the first time since 1985. Bear Toni-Ann Williams led the way, posting a 39.25 AA in the AA and taking the FX title. She also tied for the VT title with UCLA's Peng-Peng Lee. UCLA's Janay Honest won the UB while teammate Danusia Francis won the BB.

Utah posted a season-high in a home win over Arizona, despite the absence of All-American Kari Lee, who tore her Achilles this past week. They were led by Breanna Hughes, who won the UB and tied for the BB title with teammate Baely Rowe. She won the AA with a big 39.525. Teammate Samantha Partyka won the FX with a near-perfect 9.975 on FX. Teammate Kailah Delaney tied for the VT title with Arizona's Shelby Edwards.

Florida tops the Women's National Rankings for the week of February 1st, as compiled by roadtonationals.com. OU is 2nd and Michigan is 3rd.
Megan Thompson, L10 at Desert Lights, has committed to NU. In 2015 she won her state bars and beam titles and qualified to regionals, where she competed three events. This season she won the floor title at the Flames Invitational and the bars title at the Fiesta Bowl.
West Chester edged host Penn for the win. They were led by Majesta Valentine, who posted a 38.925 to win the AA. She also took the BB and FX. Teammate Meghan Brannon won the UB, while Centenary's Ashley White won the VT.
