Cal posted a 197.8 to hold off Stanford's 197.6 to win the evening session at the Cal Regional.  Stanford will join them in Sunday's final.  Auburn was 3rd at 196.8 and SUU 4th at 196.475.  Cal's Mya Lauzon tied for the top mark on VT with Stanford's Anapaula Gutierrez and SUU's Ellie Cacciola. Cal's Andi Li and Chloe Widner tied for the top spot on UB.  Widner tied for the top spot on BB with Lauzon, and on FZ with Cal's eMjae Frazier and Stanfod's Anna Roberts. Widner won the AA with a 39.7, the highest mark in both sessions.

Men's: Michigan Takes Big Ten Title

Michigan won the Big Ten Men's Gymnastics title, posting a big 418.10.  Illinois was 2nd at 413.75, Nebraska 3rd at 407.35, Ohio State 4th at 406.55 and PSU 5th at 404.05.  Fred Richard of Michigan claimed the AA title with an 83.9.  The event finals are on Saturday.  Teammate Paul Juda of Michigan placed FX and VT.  Teammates Crew Bold and Evgeny Siminiuc tied for top mark on HB.  For Illinois, Ashton Anaya placed 1st on R and teammate Will Hauke tied for first on PH with NU's Cooper Giles.  PSU Josh Karnes posted a big 15.1 on PB for the top position.

UGA 3rd at 197.425, Iowa St 196.575. UF's Victoria Nguyen posted the top mark on VT in S2 (tied with Emma Silberman of UMD from S2).  Gator Anya Pilgrim and UGA's Lily Smith tied for the top mark on UB. Smith tied for the top spot in the AA at 39.675 with MSU's Nikki Smith from Session 1. (Lily Smith appears to win the tiebreaker, if required).

In the tightest semi-final thus far, Denver posted a 197.275 and ASU a 197.15 to advance past UCLA 197.05 and Washington (196.65, a problem on BB).   Anaya Smith of ASU posted the top mark on VT. On UB, DU's Rylie Mundell tied with UCLA's Emma Malabuyo, USU's Brianna Brooks and ASU's Cienna Samiley and Jada Mangahas.  On BB, the top mark was shared by Denver Bella Mabanta and Jessica Hutchinson, along with UCLA's Selena Harris. Washington's Skylar Killough-Wilhelm had the top AA mark.  She also tied for the top mark on FX with teammate Emily Innes, Hutchinson and UCLA's Brooklyn Moors, Nya Reed, and Chae Campbell.

Utah posted a 197.825 to win Session 1 of Round 2 at the Florida Regional.  MSU also advance, not far behind with a 197.475.  Maryland finished their season at 196.35, and Towson at 195.05.  Maryland 196.35, Towson 195.05 Utah's Abby Paulson posted the top mark on BB (9.975) and teammate Jaylene Gilstrap has the top mark on FX.  MSU's Nikki Smith has the top mark in the AA (39.675) and is tied for 1st on UB with Ute Amelie Morgan. Maryland's Emma Silberman holds the top mark on VT.

LSU posted a strong 197.8 to win Session 2 of Round 2 at the Arkansas Regional.  Minnesota posted a 196.95 to advance.  Play-in winner BYU posted a 196.5 to edge Oregon State's 196.45.   Oregon State's Jade Carey was the top AAer, in the combined standings in Sessions 1 and 2. She also won BB and tied for first (10) on FX with LSU's Aleah FInnegan.  As the top finisher, she'll be assured of an AA spot at Natonals.  Likewise, Boise State's Courtney Blackson was the top finisher on UB in both Sessions, earning her trip.  Minnesota's Mya Hooten was the top vaulter but her team is still in the mix, but she'll be also assured of at least one spot.

Oklahoma posted a 198.05 to easily advance to the Final at the Michigan Regional.  Illinois was 3rd at 196.75 and NC State 4th at 195.95.  U's Jordan Bowers placed 1st AA at 39.675 and won VT (9.975) and FX. Sooner Ragan Smith won BB. Teammate Katherine LeVasseur tied for 1st on VT with Mich's Gabby Wilson.

SUU's Isabella Neff and Aubri Schwartze tied for 1st on UB. SJSU's Lauren Macpherson won VT, teammate Katherine Weyhmiller won BB, Spartan Jada Mazury won FX and teammate Jaudai Lopes won the AA (39.15).

Host Arkansas posted a 197.325 to win the first session of round 2 to advance to the Regional Final.  Kentucky was 2nd at 197.1.  They were given a strong challenge by Nebraska, who ended up at 196.6.  Arizona was 4th at 195.6.  UK's Raena Worley was first in the AA (39.45) and on FX. GymBack Lauren Williams was 1st on VT and teammate Cally Swaney was first on BB. Nebraska's Kinsey Davis had the top mark on UB.

For ISU, Noelle Adams won FX and tied for 1st on BB with teammate Josie Bergstrom and USU's Rebecca Wells. Clemson's Kaitlin DeGuzman won UB and teammates Lauren Rutherford and Trinity Brown tied for 1st on VT.

Bama posted a 197.45 and PSU hit for a 196.925 to advance to the Regional Final at Michigan. Michigan scored just a  196.725 after counting a fall on BB.  Kent St was 4th at 195.65. The top AAer was Michigan's Gabby Wilson.  She also was 1st on VT and tied teammate Sierra Brooks for 1st on FX.  Bama's Ella Burgess won BB.  Bama's Luisa Blanco and Michigan's Carly Bauman tied for 1st on the UB

At the conclusion of the play-in meet between Boise State and BYU, the two teams were tied at 195.75.  Thus, the meet went into a tiebreaker, with all 24 scores counted.  With those scores counted, BYU won with a 233.65 to Boise State's 233.4    Here were tonight's event winners:  On vault, Emily Lopez of Boise St.  On UB, Anna Bramblett of BYU.  On BB, Emma Loyim of Boise St and Brynlee Andersen of BYU shared the top mark.  On FX, Sydney Benson of BYU and Blake Pascal of Boise St shared first.

For the Illini, Mia Takekawa won UB and MIa Townes won FX. Teammate Amelia Knight tied for 1st on BB with Ball St's Grace Sumner and Zoe Middleton. Ball State's Suki Pfister won VT while Middleton took the AA at 39.275.
