Michigan came from behind to defeat Illinois. A short-handed Michigan squad used just five competitors on vault, but Katie Zurales and Sachi Sugiyama posted a win. Teammate Reema Zakharia won the FX, while teammate Brittnee Martinez tied for the BB title with the Illini's Kelsey Joannides and Alina Weinstein. Weinstein led Illinois, winning the UB as well and the AA with a 39.4.

Kent State defeated Ball State at home, led by sophomore Marie Case. Case won the AA with a 38.9, picking up wins on the FX and a tie on BB (with teammate Lauren Wozniak). Teammate Rachel Goldenberg won vault. Ball State's Julie Cotter won the UB to prevent the sweep.

Brittany Aragon, L10 at Geddart's Twistars in Michigan, has committed to Western Michigan. Last season she finished 9th AA at her state meet and 4th AA at regionals, which qualified her to JO Nationals.

Brennan Bailes, L10 at Poway Gymnastics in California, has committed to Sacramento State. Last season she qualified to Level 10 regionals.
Now with the third weekend complete, most teams now have at least two meets complete, and the season averages show some movement once again. Arkansas and UCLA are now tied for the top spot, with Utah in third. UCLA is the top vault team, while Arkansas holds the lead on UB. Utah holds down the top spot on BB and FX.
Individually, there are more athletes that have only one score counting in their "average". NU's Janelle Giblin holds the top AA spot. Bama's Ashley Sledge is the top vaulter, while UNC's Morgan Evans still holds the top spot on UB. Oregon State's Leslie Mak has the lead on BB, while Utah's Georgia Dabritz holds onto the top spot on FX.

Temple, paced by their senior class, won the tri-meet at Ursinus. Grad student Kate Canning led the Owls, winning the AA. Canning also won the VT while teammate Corrine Williams won the BB and FX. The Owls' Kaity Watson won the bars to complete the sweep.

UCLA rolled to a home victory, posting the nation's highest score thus far. Sam Peszek led the Bruins, winning the BB and the AA. Teammate Tauny Frattone won the vault while fellow Bruins Aisha Gerber and Olivia Courtney won the bars. Elyse Hopfner Hibbs completed the UCLA sweep.

Host Stanford rallied from behind to slip past Washington. Stanford was led by Ashley Morgan, Nicole Pechanec, and frosh Becky Wing. Morgan won BB and FX while Wing took the UB. Pechanec captured the AA with a 39.25. Washington's Amanda Cline won the VT.
