Kent State has announced their incoming class of seven athletes. The four signees are Rachel Guida, Sarah Moore, Lindsay Runyun, and Stephanie Smart. Terry Karkowski has been named the assistant at Pittsburgh. Karkowski has been the Head Coach at Western Michigan for the past 13 seasons. Her husband is an assistant soccer coach at Pitt. Link: Pitt Release
Madeleine "Maddie" Montoya has committed to Sacramento State, according to a site submission. The L10 trains at South Coast. In 2008, she finished 3rd on VT and 13th(t) AA at the Region 1 L10 Regionals.
Johnson competed for Minnesota's men's team from 1990-1994. He has coached high school and club gymnastics in the area since graduating in 1995. Press Release
Joanna Sampson, who trains at Ricochet's in Pennsylvania, has committed to Michigan per a submission to the site. She was the 2008 JO National bar Champ and finished 2nd AA in that meet. She did not compete in 2009.
Kelsey Black, a L10 at Oroville Gymnastics in northern California, has committed to Boise State for 2011-2012 according to a site submission. She placed 33rd AA and 5th(t) on UB at the 2009 L10 Nationals, Jr. D. Link: YouTube.com Channel
Utah has added Fumina Kobayashi to the roster for 2010, starting in December. She originally intended to walkon in 2010-2011, but instead will join under an available scholarship. She tied for 13th AA at the 2009 Region I L10 Regionals, Sr. B. Link: Utah Release
Megan Harrington has commited to BGSU, according to a site submission. The L10 with Gymnastics, Etc, in Illinois placed 8th AA and 4th on FX at the 2009 Region V L10 Regionals, Senior A. She competed as a L9 in 2009, placing 21st at the Region V Regionals. Link: Videos at YouTube.com
