Former Bama associate HC Bryan Raschilla has joined Auburn's staff as a volunteer, according to a school release.

On September 11th, 2001, Mari-Rae Sopper was on her way to California, ready to start her job as Head Coach of the women's team at UC Santa Barbara. Sopper, a former standout at Iowa State, was known as "ISUFan" on the College Gymnastics Board. She had given up her job as a Navy JAG Corp lawyer to pursue her dream, and to help save the program at UCSB. She lost her life during the events of that fateful day as the plane she was on was deliberately crashed into the Pentagon. We pause to remember her spirit and dedication to the sport, and her inspiring effort to pursue her dreams, as well as the others who lost their lives that fateful day.
Former Utah standout Baely Rowe has been named volunteer assistant coach at Washington.
OU has hired former Sooner Josh Yee as an assistant coach for 2018-2019. He replaces Taqiy Abdullah-Simmons, who will relocating to Australia for his wife's new job.

Faith Torrez from Legacy Elite has committed to OU. She placed 1st on vault and floor and 1st AA at her 2018 state meet. She swept the events and AA at regionals. She won bars, beam and AA titles at JOs.
Unfortunately, both Men's and Women's Gymnastics programs at UIC will be cut at the end of this season. Both teams were reportedly informed this morning, and it's now been confirmed. We'll bring you more information as it becomes available, including any efforts to save the programs.

Erika Penamante from Legacy Elite has committed to Iowa. She placed 4th AA at her 2018 state meet. She placed 1st on beam and 1st AA regionals. She picked up a national beam title and placed 7th AA at JOs.
