TWU 190

TWU defeated host Centenary, led by wins from Isabel Goyco on BB, FX and the AA (a career high 38.85).  Teammate Bria Northrup won the UB. For Centenary, Cami Bea Austin won the VT.

Minnesota's Lexy Ramler scored a 10.0 on BB en route to a 39.55 AA win.  She also tied on UB with BGSU's Alexandra Fochler.  Teammate Ona Loper won VT and FX.

Towson 192.65 at Penn 191.425

Towson defeated Penn 192.65 to 191.425.  The Tigers picked up a win from Tess Zientek on UB and used better depth and consistency to defeat the Quakers. Penn's Sydney Kraez won the AA, VT and FX. Teammate Natalie Yang took the BB.

Maryland posted a big opening score to win the Little Boston Invitational.  Audrey Barber won or tied on VT, BB and FX en route to a 39.325 AA win to lead the Terrapins.  Teammates Alecia Farina and Alexis Rubio tied for the VT title.  UMD's Tiara Wright and GWU's Olivia Zona also earned a share of the BB title.  On FX, UMD's Reese McClure and Sabriyya Rouse also earned a share of the title, along with West Chester's Jessica Meakim.

Iowa's Bridget Killian won the AA while GymHawks Alex Greenwald and Lauren Guerin won UB and FX, respectively. Ball St's Stefanie Schweikert won VT while AF's Briona Carswell won BB.

Arizona picked up wins from Maddi Leydin on FX and frosh Zaza Brovedani and Christina Berg on UB. ISU's Sophia Steinmeyer won VT while RU frosh Hannah Joyner won BB and tied with teammate Belle Huang for the AA.

Oregon State's Kaitlyn Yanish won VT and tied on FX with teammate Isis Lowery while also took the BB to lead the Beavers. OSU's Halli Briscoe won UB. Centenary's Cami Bea Austin and SPU's Darian Burns tied for AA honors.

Off and Running in 2020

The first two weekends of the 2020 season have been completed, and now that we've seen the debut of the top squads, here are a few observations.

Kentucky 195.35 at Utah 196.425

Utah's Kim Tessen won VT with a 9.925 for a stuck Yurchenko 1 1/2 and then won UB with a 9.9 and then tied for 1st on FX at 9.95 with teammate Sydney Soloski (double layout mount) to lead the Utes in their win over the Wildcats.  Teammate Cristal Isa won BB with a 9.925.  Tessen did not compete BB.  UK's Mollie Korth led a pair of UK AAers with a 39.375.  The Utes went 49+ on all four events, while UK's best event was BB at 48.975, as neither team counted a fall.
