Incoming recruits and recruitables started their post-season this past weekend with their State L10 Championships. Here's a quick summary of how some of them of them did (Top 3 finishers only). Stanford defeated Cal in what could be the Cal Men's program's last home meet. The two teams split the event wins, but Stanford used a large advantage (5.15 points) on High Bar, led by National leader Alex Buscaglia (16.3), to seal the win.

UW La Crosse captured its fourth straight National title at the NCGA Nationals this evening. UW La Crosse was led by Christa Booman, who won the AA with a 38.65.
Air Force won the USAG Collegiate Nationals with a 345.7, just ahead of W&M's 344.6. ASU won the club division with a 329.8. In the AA race, Springfield's Ty Evans took home the title with an 85.7. Event finals are tomorrow night.

The Cal Men's program must raise $4M in pledges spanning a four year period in order to save their program. Although the Women's program has been reinstated, the Men's program is facing their last home meet this weekend. Don't make it their last. Make your pledge today.

The Troster.com GymInfo National Rankings for the Men shift this week to the Four Score Average. To get the Four Score Average, you take the five highest scores, of which no more than two are home meets. Then, you drop the high and average the rest.
Even with the change, OU still leads the National Rankings by a significant margin. There are some changes in the individual rankings. Steven Legendre of OU still leads the AA, and holds the lead on FX and VT. Teammate Jake Dalton holds the lead on PB. Illinois' Daniel Ribeiro is the leader on PH, while Scott Rosenthal of PSU takes over the top spot on Rings. Stanford's Alex Buscaglia swings to the top of the HB rankings.

The NCAA has set the Women's Regional Assignments for the 2011 Regionals. The Regionals are based on seeding according to a certain pre-defined protocol. The Top 18 are assigned in "trios" based on their rank, while the remaining 18 teams are assigned based on geographical proximity. Host teams get preference in assignment to the Regionals. The regular season is now over, and the Troester.com GymInfo National rankings are based on final Regional Qualifying Score (RQS).
Florida tops the final Top 25 RQS ranking, with Bama in 2nd. Oregon State moves up to third for the final ranking. Florida continues to lead the team rankings on FX, but ceded the top spot on VT with Bama. OU took over the top spot on BB while Oregon State tops the final UB rankings.
Stephanie Miceli, L10 at GMGC Gold Medal Gymnastics in NY, has committed to Arizona State. This season she placed 1st AA (1st BB) at the Team Challenge meet, 2nd AA (1st UB/BB) at the Tim Rand Invite and she won beam at the Crystal Cup. Last season she placed 10th AA at the 2010 JO meet.
Boise State posted a 195.7 to win the WAC title. SUU was 2nd with a 194.825, while San Jose St finished 3rd with a 193.925. Sac State posted a 193.55 for fourth, while USU had a 191.85 for fifth. CSUF closed with a 191.65. Boise State was led by Amy Glass, who won the VT title. Teammate Hannah Redmon tied for the UB title with SUU's Alyssa Click. SUU's Brooke Cersosimo won the BB. For CSUF, Senior Alaina Baker won the FX and the AA in a fine overall effort for the .

NU celebrated Senior Night with the tri-meet win. The Huskers scored 14 career highs on the night, leading to a season-best team tally.

UC Davis won the MPSF team title with a 192.975, while Air Force was 2nd with a 192.225. SPU was third with a 191.25, while Alaska Anchorage posted a 190.475 for fourth. Marcy Miller led UC Davis, winning the AA and tying for the UB title with teammate Jessica Rea. Teammate Katie Yamamura won the VT. For Air Force, Brittany Dutton and Lisa Wong tied for the BB title. UAA's Kelsey Fullerton won the FX.

Oregon State won the 2011 Pac-10 Championship. UCLA finished 2nd and Washington 3rd. Leslie Mak led Oregon State, winning the AA with a 39.525, the BB with a 9.95 and then tied with five others for the UB title (Teammates Olivia Vivian and Makayla Stambaugh, UCLA's Olivia Courtney and Aisha Gerber, and UW's Sam Walior). Frosh of the year Courtney won the VT. Stanford's Ashley Morgan tied with UCLA's Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs for the FX title.

OU posted the NCAA's highest team total this season in a big win over Illinois and PSU. Steven Legendre posted a 91.25 to win the AA, including a tie for the HB title. But it was Jake Dalton's huge 16.7 on VT that led the way as the Sooners posted a 64.9 on the event. He also won the FX (16.25) for the Sooners.

Michigan celebrated Senior Night with a huge win over Ohio State. Michigan's Sam Mikulak won FX, VT, PB and the AA to lead the Wolverines to victory.
