Arizona eaked out a narrow win over Rutgers and SUU at the American Gold meet, with less than 0.2 points separating the three teams.  For Arizona, frosh Abigayle Martin, Emily Mueller and Emily Strom tied for the FX title.  Martin won BB with a 9.9 while Strom tied for 1st on VT with SUU's Ellie Cacciola and Mia Hampton.  Gymcat Alysen Fears tied for 1st on UB with SUU's Isabella Neff.  For the Flippin' Birds, Niya Randolph won the AA with a 39.1, with Martin in 2nd at 39.025.

Maddox Lee led the Gusties to a big win over Eau Claire, taking the BB and the AA (37.525).  She also tied for the FX title with teammate Olivia Jahnke and Eau Claire's Harriet Toth.  Toth took the UB and was 2nd AA.

OU's Faith Torrez posted a 39.625 to win lead the Sooners to the win.  She also tied for the FX title with teammate Audrey Davis.  Davis won the UB with a 9.95.  Sooner Keira Wells took the VT with the same mark, while OU frosh Lily Pederson won the BB and placed 2nd AA at 39.55.

CMU 193.4 at Minnesota 194.45

Minnesota opened with a 194.45 to hold off CMU's 193.4.  Gopher star Mya Hooten won the VT and tied for the FX title with CMU forsh Ava Wellmeier.  Minnesota's Jordyn Lyden won UB while Gopher frosh Ava Stewart won the BB.

Towson 194.425 at NC State 195.825

NC State posted a solid 195.825 to defeat Towson on Saturday afternoon.  NCSU got wins from Ashley Knight on VT, Maddie Hall on BB and Syniya Thomas and Chloe Negrete on FX.  Towson's Isabella Minervini won the UB.

WMU 194.675 at MSU 196.75

MSU opened with a big 196.75 to defeat WMU's 194.675.  Spartan Nikki Smith led the way, posting a 39.475 in the AA while taking the titles on VT and UB.  Teammate Gabrielle Stephen won the FX.  WMU's Emily Krzciok won the BB to prevent a sweep.

Cal won the first session of the American Gold meet, posting a 196.275 to defeat Oregon State (195.775) and UCLA (195.25).  Cal's Mya Lauzon capture a share of two events, sharing the VT title with UCLA's Jordan Chiles and the FX title with UCLA's Brooklyn Moors and Oregon State's Jade Carey.  BEar teammate Madelyn Williams won the UB.  Carey won the AA with a 39.625 and took the BB with a 9.95.

WVU 193.6 at Temple 191.2

WVU posted a win at Temple, sweeping all four individual events.  Sophia Rice won the VT.  Brooke Alban, Anna Leigh and Trinity Macy tied for 1st on UB.  On BB, Julia Brown and Kaylei Adams tied for first.  Finally, Mountaineer Amber Lowe won the FX.

2026-2027: Brueck to Air Force

Faith Brueck, a L10 from Twisters, has committed to Air Force, starting in 2026-2027.  This past season she competed L10 for the first time, tying for 8th AA at the FL L10 State meet.

2025-2026: Harris to MSU

Miriam Harris, a L10 at Brown's Las Vegas, has committed to a full scholarship offer at Michigan State.  Harris is currently on a gap year and is the younger sister of Selena, now at Florida.  She is a two-time L10 Regional qualifier.  In 2024, she was 4th AA, 2nd on UB and 2nd(t) on VT at the Nevada L10 State Meet.  She was also 2nd in the AA and on VT at the 2023 L10 State meet.

2025-2026: Lopez to Bowling Green

Natasha Lopez, a L10 (Canadian program) from Shenderey Gymnastics in Canada, has committed to an academic and athletic scholarship to BGSU, starting in 2025-2026.

USU 194.45 at Utah 196.775

Utah overcame small problems on VT and FX to post a solid 196.775 and defeat Utah State's 194.45.  Makenna Smith led the Utes, winning the AA with a 39.55 and taking the FX.  Teammate Ashley Glynn won VT while soph Cami Winger won BB with a 9.95.  Utes Amelie Morgan and Grace McCallum tied for the UB title.

Iowa State 194.1 at LSU 197.3

LSU blasted to a 197.3 in their season opener to easily defeat ISU's 194.1.  Tiger Aleah Finnegan led the way, winning the AA with a 39.725 and taking the VT and FX with 9.95s.  She also tied with LSU frosh standout Kailin Chio for the titles on UB and BB.  Chio placed 2nd AA at 39.575 in a stellar debut.  LSU is working through a series of injuries, most recently to NCAA Champ Haleigh Bryant, who was out for at least this meet.

Missouri opened the season with a strong no-counting fall effort, posting a 196.7 to easily defeat Ball State (194.925), Illinois St (194.775) and SEMO (190.475).  Tiger Hannah Horton won the VT, UB and tied for the FX title with teammates Jocelyn Moore and Amari Celestine.  Celestine won the AA with a 39.35.  Mizzou's Addison Lawrence, back after sitting out 2024 with an injury, won the BB.

The 2025 NCAA season is just around the corner, and we'll soon find out who will be able to prevent LSU from defending their 2024 National TItle.  This year we are publishing, in a slightly abbreviated format, Season Previews for the entire Top 25 teams, as ranked by the Coaches' Preseason Poll.  In each Preview, we've summarized the team's returning routines, their lost routines, their returning starters and the rest of their roster, with a special focus on their newcomers.  We'll also give a brief overview preview of their prospects and challenges.  In a change for this year, we've incorporated our recruit ratings for your reference.
