CMU head coach placed on administrative leave

CMU has announced that Jerry Reighard has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation. No further comment was provided.  Christine McDonald will assume a lead role in the interim.

2022-23 Gwen Fink to UNC

Gwendolyn Fink from Southeastern has committed to UNC.   She finished 12thAA  at 2018 JOs.  This season she swept the events and AA at the Atlanta Crown.  She finished 1st on UB and BB and the all around at the Sand Dollar meet.  She picked up another beam win at the Chow's Challenge.

2020-21 Cory Shinohara to UNC

Cory Shinohara from Brestyan's has committed to UNC.  She qualified to regionals in 2017 and competed three meets in 2018.

Illinois adds a walkon mid-season

Illinois has announced that Rachel Borden has joined the team.  Bordan is a former L10 gymnast who has been serving as team manager.

2019-20 Audrey Kaufman to UW-LaCrosse

Audrey Kaufman from TAGS has committed to UW-L.   She is a 2018 regional qualifier.  She has registered two 3rd place AA finishes at her meets so far this season.

Maile O'Keefe has retired from elite competition and she intends to head to Utah a year early.  She competed her first L10 meet this weekend at the Brestyans' Las Vegas Invite.

Skinner ponders an Olympic run

Mykayla Skinner nears the point where she has to make the decision whether to compete her senior season next year or train for the Olympics


Meg McGinley from Deveaus qualified to regionals last season.   She has three top ten all around finishes so far this season.


Taiya Stelmachowski from Aspire Gymnastics qualified to 2018 regionals.  She has two top ten all around finishes in her meets this season, including a 1st place finish on bars at the UGA Invitational.

2022-23 Naya Howard to UGA

Naya Howard from Ocean Tumblers has committed to UGA.  She placed 1st on bars and 3rd AA at her 2018 JO meet. She has competed three meets so far this season, finishing 1st on bars at two of them and placing 1st AA at the Hill's Maryland Classic.
