World Championships: Men's Qualifications

OU's Yul Moldauer qualified 7th to the AA final and 3rd to the FX final at the World Championships in Montreal.  Former Sooner Alex Naddour was 3rd on PH and made the final.  He's also the first reserve on Rings.  The USA's Donnell Whittenburg made the FX final as well. 
Former UGA star Brittany Rogers won the gold on Vault at the World University Games.  She also placed fifth on BB.  UCLA incoming frosh Pauline Tratz was fifth on FX. Link:  Results

World University Games: AA Final

PSU's Briannah Tsang, representing Canada, placed 11th AA at the World University Games.  UCLA incoming frosh Pauline Tratz was 13th.  Romania's Larisa Iordache won the AA title with a strong 56.75.

World University Games Team Results

Russia won the women's team competition at the World University Games this weekend.  Canada was 2nd, with former NCAAer Brittany Rogers (UGA) and current NCAAers Brianna Tsang (PSU) and Danelle Pedrick (CMU).  Japan was 3rd and Germany, with UIC gymnast Antonia Aliecke and UCLA incoming frosh Pauline Tratz, was fourth. …

P&G Championships: Smith Wins Title

OU commit Ragan Smith won her first National senior AA title on Sunday in Anaheim.  UCLA commit Jordan Chiles was 2nd, with Florida commit Riley McCusker 3rd.  Trinity Thomas was 4th, just ahead of UCLA commit Margzetta Frazier. 
Utah commit Maile O'Keefe won the junior women's division at the P&G Championships on Sunday.  In 2nd was UCLA commit Emma Malabuyo with Kara Eaker in 3rd.  O'Keefe won the UB while Malabuyo won the FX and Eaker the BB.  GAGE's Leanne Wong won the VT.  Here's the Junior National…

US Names Men's World Championships Team

USA Gymnastics has named the 2017 World Championships squad.  The meet will be an individual only Worlds and will be held in Montreal.  The format has influenced the selection to be heavy on specialists.

P&G Championships: Men's Junior Finals

Brody Malone won the Junior Men 17-18 division and Garrett Braunton won the 15-16 division at the P&G Championships.  3rd in the 17-18 division was Ohio State incoming frosh Max Andryushchenko while incoming NU frosh Griffin Kehler was 4th.  Link:  Release

Men's National Qualifier Results

A variety of men with ties to NCAA programs competed in the final qualifier for the 2017 P&G (US) Championships.  Marvin Kimble won the senior division, with Minnesota incoming frosh Shane Wiskus 2nd.  Link:  Results and Qualifiers
Two-time Olympian Ellie Black recaptured her Canadian National TItle this weekend at the Canadian Nationals.  Zachary Clay won the men's title.  Future superstar Ana Padurariu swept the women's competition. 
OU's Men's team won their third straight National Championship on Saturday night, posting a big 431.95 to easily outdistance the field.  Ohio State was 2nd at 423.7, Illinois third at 422.1, and Stanford 4th at 421.5  Minnesota was fifth at 414.2, with NU at 412.9. 
Oklahoma posted a 430.6 to win Session 2 of the Men's NCAA qualifier.  Illinois was 2nd at 421.3 and Minnesota was 3rd at 420.1
