Olympics: Men's AA Final

The Men's AA Final was an outstanding afternoon of competition this Wednesday, with the world's top gymnasts battling in top form. 

 Japan's Kohei Uchimura successfully defended his AA title, coming from behind to edge Oleg Verniaiev of the Ukraine by less than 0.1, 92.365 to 92.266.  It came to the last event, with Verniaiev posting just a 14.8 on HB (6.5V) to Uchimura's 15.8.  Max Whitlock of Great Britain won the Bronze with a 90.641, just ahaed of David Belyavskiy of Russia (90.498), Lin Chaopan of China (90.23) and his compatriot Deng Shudi (90.13).  Sam Mikulak of the US, the former NCAA champion from Michigan, placed 7th.  Former OU Sooner Chris Brooks placed 14th.
