Just behind in 4th was UCLA commit Margzetta Frazier while Trinity Thomas was a tenth back in fifth. In 6th was Florida commit Morgan Hurd, with Bama commit Shania Adams in 7th. Michigan commit Alyona Shchennikova was 8th while Bama commit Emily Gaskins was 9th. Utah commit Deanne Soza was 10th to round out the top 10.
In the junior ranks, Utah commit Maile O'Keefe posted a big 57.2 to take the Day 1 lead over UCLA commit Emma Malabuyo (57.05). GAGE's Kara Eaker was 3rd with teammate Leanne Wong in 4th. Adeline Kenlin rounded out the top five.
