Jayda Lewter, a L10 from Legacy, has committed to Minnesota, starting in 2024-2025. In 2023, she placed 9th AA at the Region 4 L10 Regionals and qualified to Nationals as an event specialist on VT. She also placed 9th AA at Regionals in 2022, and qualified to Nationals on VT.

OU tops the 2024 Women's Preseason Coaches' Poll, placing 1st with 36 1st place votes. Florida is 2nd (3 1st place votes) and LSU third (5 first place votes). Utah slots in 4th (2 first place votes), UCLA 6th (1 first place vote) and Michigan 6th (1 first place vote).
Korynne Marquart, a L10 at Cypress, has committed to a full scholarship at MSU, starting in 2025-2026. In 2023, she placed 13th AA and tied for 6th on FX at the Women's Development Program Level 10 Nationals. She also tied for 37th AA at the 2022 L10 Nationals.

Sanai Evans, a L10 at BIO Gymnastics, has committed to a full scholarship from EMU, starting in 2024-2025. In 2023, she placed 7th on UB as an individual event specialist at the Women's Development Program L10 Nationals. She also placed 4th(t) on UB and 8th AA at the 2023 Region 8 Regionals. She was also 14th AA at Regionals in 2022.

Natalie Lindgren, a L10 at Premier, has committed to Towson on an athletic scholarship, starting in 2025-2026. Lindgren is a two-time Level 10 Regional qualifier.

The qualifying round for the Men's World Championships was completed, with the US finishing in 2nd. Several US Men qualified for finals. Michigan's Fred Richard and Stanford's Asher Hong qualified for the AA final. Richard qualified 2nd on FX while Hong qualified on 6th PB. Stanford's Khoi Young qualified 2nd on PH and 6th on VT while Michigan's Paul Juda qualified for 5th on VT and 6th on HB. Former OU Sooner Yul Moldauer qualified 4th on PB.
The qualifying round served as a qualifying round for the Olympics. Previously, China, Japan and Great Britain qualified. The US, Canada, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey, the Netherlands and Ukraine all qualified. For the AA spots, Brazil, Korea and Belgium each earned a nominative AA spot by finishing in the next three positions. The top 8 AAers not on one of the 12 qualifying teams were also named. Additional spots will be earned in the event finals, the World Cup series, the Continental Championships (AA) and a place reserved for the host country, France (if they do not qualify in any other method) and a Universality place. Unofficially, three gymnasts have already qualified in individual events by placing ahead of those on qualifying team/AA spots. These three include Kevin Penev of Bulgaria, who competed for Michigan and is from New York.

Michigan's Fred Richard placed 4th (83.764) and PSU's Josh Karnes placed 6th (82.664) at the Men's AA Finals of the 2021 World University Games in Chengdu. The competition was originally set for 2021. China's Boheng Zhang won the with an 86.733. Favorite Daiki Hashimoto had to withdraw after two events. PSU's Ian Raubal, competing for Switzerland, placed 12th (80.131).
Earlier, in the Men's team final, the US placed 4th. No US Women's team was sponsored.

Iowa State has announced a coaching change: Head Coach Jay Roynane will depart after 17 years. The Cyclones failed to make Regionals for only the 2nd time since 1996-1997 (excluding the abbreviated 2019-2020 season).
