Ohio State won the West Point Open with a strong 315.8, defeating Penn State (312.75), Navy (309.5), Army (308.3), Springfield and W&M.  The Buckeyes Drake Andrews posted the top AA mark of the day with a 77.7 (and the mark on HB), followed by teammate Kameron Nelson at 77.1 (and 1st on VT and FX).  Buckeye Parker Thackston was the top scorer on PH, while PSU's Matthew Underhill was the top ring man.  Buckeye Caden Spencer and Springfield's Owen Carney shared the top mark on HB.  Competition continues tomorrow with event finals.

Stanford overcame a counting fall on BB to win the quad meet.  Boise St was the only team not to count a fall and was 2nd, just ahead of the hosts, who also counted a miss on BB.   Stanford was led by Anna Roberts, who won the VT and tied for 1st on FX with Washington's Emily Innis.  Cardinal Brenna Neault won the AA with a 39.175.  Stanford's Claire Dean won BB, coming from the leadoff position.  Boise State's Emily Lopez won the UB.

LIU 185.25 at Air Force 193.375

Maggie Slife led Air Force to an easy win over LIU, winning the AA (39.175), UB and FX.  Teammate Alyssa Bigler won VT while Falcon Kylee Greene won BB.

SUU 195.0 at USU 194.15

SUU defeated cross-state rival USU, led by Niya Randolph's 39.125 AA win.  Teammate Ellie Cacciola won VT while teammate Elliot Bringhurst won BB.  For USU, Nyla Morabito won FX while teammate Brianna Brooks won UB.

Michigan edged Arizona to win the first session of the Sprout's invitational.  Frosh Jazara Ranger led Michigan with a win on FX.  Teammate Sophia Diaz tied for the VT title with Arizona's Elizabeth Russo and Alysen Fears.  Wolverine Carly Bauman tied with Fears for 1st on UB.  On BB, Arizona's Abigayle Martin tied for 1st on FX with teammate Elena Deets.  Arizona's Emily Mueller won the AA with a 39.175.

Dani Fuertez won UB and FX to lead Kent State to a win over Fisk and Wilberforce.  Teammate Nene Alvine won the VT while teammate Alyssa Guns completed a sweep with a win on BB.  For Fisk, Morgan Price won the AA at 38.975.

UNC 195.225 at Alabama 197.025

Bama burst through 197 to defeat the visitors from UNC, led by Gabby Gladieux.  Gladieux won the AA with a 39.575, taking the VT and FX.  Tide frosh Paityn Walker won the UB while teammate Lilly Hudson tied for the BB title with UNC's Gwen Fink.

Iowa State defeated cross-state rival Iowa to open 2025.  Noelle Adams led the way, sharing the VT title with teammate Josie Bergstrom-Te Slaa and the FX with frosh teammate Haylee Hardin.  Teammate Lauren Thomas tied for 1st on BB with Iowa's Ilka Juk.  For the GymHawks, frosh Aurelie Tran won the UB and the AA (39.05).

UW-Whitewater 189.325 at UW-Stout 187.05

Whitewater picked up the win at Stout, led by wins from Carley Scott on UB and Chloe Hammond on BB.  Teammates Carleigh Moore and Kelsey Kollhoff tied for 1st on FX with Stout's Effie Ferguson.  Also for Stout, Jessica Qualich won the VT and Gillian Cummins took the AA (37.5).

Gustavus 185.6 at UW-Oshkosh 194.15

UW Oshkosh won the home dual with a big 194.15.  UW Oshkosh was led by Delaney Cienkus, who won BB and tied for the FX title with teammate Jay Ratkowski.  Oshkosh also picked up wins from Amaya McConkay on UB and Reanna McGobbonay on VT.  For Gustavus' Maddox Lee won the AA with a 38.05.  Oshkosh's mark was the 2nd highest in school history, and the highest at home.

Florida survived a rough FX rotation to hold off MSU and win their opening quad meet.  Gator Leanne Wong led the way, winning the AA with a 39.725 and winning the UB, BB and FX.  Teammate Danie Ferris won the VT.

2025-2026: Diggs to Fisk

Hadassah Diggs, a L10 gymnast from EnVision, has signed with Fisk for 2025-2026.  Diggs placed 4th AA, 3rd on FX and 4th(t) on BB at the Region 7 L10 Regionals in 2024, qualifying to Nationals.  She also placed 8th AA and first on BB at the L10 Regionals in 2022.

2026-2027: Hopkinson to TWU

Zinnia Hopkinson, a L10 from Beyond Gymnastics, has committed to an athletic scholarship offer at TWU, starting in 2026-2027.  This past season, she qualified to the Region 6 L10 Regionals and tied for 4th on BB.  She was also 40th AA at the 2023 Women's Development Program L10 Nationals.

2025-2026: Gullickson to Minnesota

Lilly Gullickson, a gymnast from High Point, has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Minnesota, starting in 2025-2026.  As a Level 9 in 2024, she placed 5th AA and 2nd(t) on UB at the Level 9 Eastern Nationals.  She was also the Region 8 Senior 3 Level 9 UB, BB and AA champ in 2023.

2025-2026: Barbosu to Stanford

Olympic bronze medalist Ana Barbosu of Romania has committed to a full scholarship offer at Stanford, starting in 2025-2026.  Barbosu is a three-time Romanian National AA champ.  This past season she placed 17th AA at the Olympic Games.  She was also 23rd AA at the 2023 World Championships.
