Hailey Garner, L10 at Gymstars in Tennessee, has committed to Arkansas. Hailey is a three time state champion, a
seven time regional qualifier and two time JO national team member. She is the 2014 state vault, bars and floor champ
and she placed 29th AA at JOs.

Makayla Bullitt, L10 at Precision in Texas, has committed to ASU. She placed 1st on vault and 4th AA at her 2014 state meet. She went on to a 4th place finish at regionals and 8th place at JOs.
Chloe Cluchey, L10 at Capital in Virginia, has committed to West Virginia. She placed 1st on bars and 2nd AA at her 2014 state meet. She was 3rd AA at regionals and 23rd AA at JOs.
Derrian Gobourne, L10 at Lakewood Ranch in Florida, has committed to Auburn. She placed 1st on vault and 3rd AA at her 2014 state meet. Her 2nd place AA finish at regionals earned her a trip to JOs.
Sydney Johnson-Scharpf has announced her commitment to Florida. The Jr. International Elite trains at Brandy Johnson's in Florida. She competed at the 2014 American Classic, Secret Classic and US Nationals.
UCLA commit Simone Biles won two golds (BB, FX) as the World Championships concluded. She won four golds and a silver during the competition. Utah commit McKayla Skinner was 4th on FX.
For the men, former OU standout Jake Dalton won the bronze on VT.

Jr. International Elite Emily Gaskins has announced her commitment to Florida. She has competed internationally for the U.S. and she competed at 2014 U.S. Nationals.
UCLA commit Simone Biles won the silver on Vault while Utah commit MyKayla Skinner won Bronze as the first day of event finals concluded. The Democratic People's Republic of Korea's Hong Un Jong won the Vault. On UB, Florida commiit Ashton Locklear placed in fourth, just 0.017 away from the bronze. China's Yao Jinnan won the Gold.
Former OU Sooner Jake Dalton placed 4th on FX, with Russia's Denis Abliazin winning the Gold. On PH, former Sooner Alex Naddour was 6th. Hungary's Krisztian Berki won the Gold. On Rings, China's Liu Yang won the Gold.

she placed 1st on bars and 7th AA. She placed 4th AA at JOs.

Former DU star Jessica Lopez was 8th, while LSU commit Ruby Harrold was 11th.
Japan's Kohei Uchimura won his fifth consecutive AA title at the World Championships. Further cementing his place among the all-time greats, Uchimura outpaced the UK's Max Whitlock (a substitution into the final) by nearly 1.5 points. Japan's Yusuke Tanaka was a hair behind (.024) in 3rd.
NCAA Champion and Michigan undergraduate assistant coach Sam Mikulak placed 12th AA.

Carly Clark, L10 at Oakland in Michigan, has committed to EMU. Last season she was 10th AA at her state meet and 15th AA at regionals.
The US Women's squad defended their team World Championship gold medal in dominating fashion today, outpacing 2nd place and host China by 6.693 points. Russia was 3rd. The team includes at least five NCAA commits, including Alyssa Baumann (Florida), Simone Biles (UCLA), Madison Kocian (UCLA), Ashton Locklear (Florida) and McKayla Skinner (Utah). Olympian Kyla Ross has not publicized a decision regarding college.

Bre Wiczkowski, L10 at Prestige in Pa., has committed to Temple. Last season she placed 6th AA at her state meet and 15th AA at regionals.
Gianna LaGuardia, L10 at Colorado Gymnastics Institute, has committed to New Hampshire. Last season she placed 1st AA and 1st on vault at her state meet. At regionals, she placed 7th AA and earned a spot at JOs.
The US Men, featuring former NCAAers Jake Dalton (OU), Sam Mikulak, and Alex Naddour (OU), won the bronze medal at the World Gymnastics Championships in Nanning today. China edged Japan for the gold. The UK was just behind in 4th.
