Emma Johnson recently committed to Maryland. Johnson is a Level 10 at US Gymnastics Development Center in Mahwah, New Jersey. She was the 2012 L-10 NJ State Vaulting Champion and qualified to the Region 7 Championship that season. In 2013, she finished in the top four AA at all of her regular season meets, including a win at the Manhattan Classic (1st AA, V, UB).
Maggie O'Hara, L10 from Southeastern in N.C., has committed to Michigan. In 2013 she placed 5th AA at her state championship meet, 3rd AA at regionals and 9th AA at JOs.
Maggie Nichols, elite gymnast and National Team member from Twin Cities Twisters, has announced her commitment to Oklahoma. Maggie has competed internationally for the US this season, helping the US team to a 1st place finish at City of Jesolo Trophy and the GER-ROU-USA Friendly meet. She finished 6th AA at the Secret Classic and 5th AA at the P&G Championships.
Former Michigan gymnast Ralph Russo has joined the Western Michigan staff as Assistant Coach.
Gabriella Yarussi, L10 from Southeastern in N. Carolina, has reportedly committed to Towson. Gabriella placed 5th AA at her state meet in 2013 and qualified through regionals to the NIT.
Cal has announced that Jessa Hansen, former U. of Iowa gymnast, to its coaching staff.
Maryland has announced the addition of Nikola Chung to its incoming class. Nikola was a member of the Australian world championship team in 2011.
As previously announced, Tracey Pearson and Kelly Burak have reported to Pitt for the upcoming season. Joining them is Erika Reichert. We previously announced Reichert's commitment to W&M.
Annie Juarez, L10 at Deveau's in Indiana, has committed to Sacramento State. Last season she finished 3rd AA and 1st on Floor at her regional meet and 8th AA at JOs. She competed at the NIT in 2012.
Ellie Pascoe-Long, L10 at NAAG in Oregon, has committed to San Jose State per her recruiting service. Last season she finished 7th AA at her state meet and 4th AA at regionals. She won the bars title in both meets. She qulaified to JOs in her first year at L10. She competed at the 2012 L9 Western Champions and took that vault title.
Katherine Locher, L10 at World Class in Virginia, has reportedly committed to Illinois State. Katherine competed at the 2012 NIT, finishing 5th AA. She started her 2013 season with all around and bars wins at the Atlantis Crown meet. She finished 6th AA at her state meet and qualified to regionals.
Olivia Aepli, L10 at Buckeye Gymnastics in Ohio, has announced her commitment to Ohio State. Last season she finished 6th AA at her state meet and 5th AA at regionals, which qualified her to JOs.
