Eliza Barach, L10 from World Class in New York, has committed to Washington for the 2012-13 season according to news posted on her web page. This season Barach, L10 from World Class in New York, has finished 1st AA; 1st UB/BB in her session of the PKI and 3rd AA at the Chicago Style. She was 21st AA at the 2010 L10 Nationals.
Personal web pageJordan Schult, L10 at CGI in Colorado, has committed to BYU and will join the team next fall. She finished 4th AA at her 2010 state meet and 14th AA at regionals. This season she finished 5th AA at the Sand Dollar meet and 10th AA at the Pike Peak meet.
Haley Jones, L10 at First State Gymnastics in Pennsylvania, has verbally committed to the University of Maryland for the 2012-13 season. She recently took 1st AA at the East Coast Classic, 2nd on Vault, 1st on Bars, 1st on beam and 2nd on floor. She was also a 2010 NIT qualifier.
After a weekend off for the Winter Cup, the men were in full action this past weekend. The men's rankings are now computed by an average of the best three meets. OU is the top ranked squad, with Illinois now in third. OU's Steven Legendre leads the all the individual AAers with a 89.283 average. He also leads the FX. Illinois' Daniel Ribeiro leads the PH, while another familiar name, Ohio State's Brandon Wynn, holds the top spot on Rings. OU's Jake Dalton is the top vaulter, while PSU's Warren Yang is tops on PB. Illinois' Paul Ruggeri, who suffered a season-ending injury at the Winter Cup, is the top HB worker.

As you would expect, Florida remains at the top of this week's Troester.com GymInfo National Rankings. They lead all events now, surpassing former leader Stanford on the BB.
This week is the last week the rankings will be made by season average. Individually, UGA frosh Lindsay Creek leads the AA and UB. Utah senior Kyndal Robarts leads the vault. However, with the switch to RQS next week we'll have new leaders on those events. Boise State's Amy Glass takes over the top spot on the BB this week, while Florida's Ashanee Dickerson takes sole command of the FX.
OU rolled to a big victory in Lincoln, breaking the 360 point mark for a new season high. For OU, Steven Legendre won FX, VT and HB to lead the Sooners. He amassed an NCAA-leading 92.2 AA tally.

Iowa remained undefeated, easily handling the Div III squad from Wisconsin-Stout. For Iowa, Rebecca Simbhudas won the FX and the AA (38.55) while senior classmate Houry Gebeshian won UB and BB. For Iowa, Maya Wickus added a win on VT to complete the sweep.

WMU remained undefeated in MAC action by downing visiting NIU. Frosh Kristen Seidowski won the VT while classmate Lauren Bledsoe won the FX. WMU's Kristine Garbarino won the BB. Holly Reichard won the UB for NIU.

Ursinus slipped by visiting West Chester, using a strong effort on FX to slip by the Rams.

Kylee Botterman of Michigan posted the nation's first 10.0 of the season (for her vault), but it wasn't enough as the Cardinal continued their winning streak. Botterman won the VT, AA (39.625) and tied for the FX title with Stanford's Ashley Morgan. Stanford's Shelley Alexander won the BB. Michigan's Trish Wilson tied with NU's Lora Evenstad for the UB title.

PSU posted a season high to easily defeat Springfield College. PSU's Felix Aronovich won PH, PB and tied for the HB title with teammate Wasef Burbar.
