Nina Turba, Chalk It Up, to Rhode Island College

Payton Greene, Airborne, to Rhode Island College

Gracie Christensen, Altius Gymnastics, to Southern Connecticut

 

OU retained their #1 position with a NQS of 198.21 in the Women's National Rankings for the week of March 6th, as compiled by RoadToNationals.com.  Michigan rise up two spots and has taken over #2, just ahead of #3 Florida.  Utah is 4th, just ahead of UCLA.

Men's: W&M 379.7 at Navy 393.1

Navy swept the six individual events with different gymnasts:  Ian Dinmore won FX, Ronan McQuillan won PH, Erik Engelke won R, Connor Van Loo won VT, Isaiah Drake won PB and Matthew Petros won HB.

Greenville triumphed in the tri-meet at Simpson.   For Greenville, Ricky Mays won PH and Michael Avery won VT.   Springfield's Dominic Ramalho led his squad with a 77.4 AA win.  He also tied for the FX title with teammate Zach Connelly and on PB with teammate Sam Kaplan.  Kaplan also won R.  Springfield's Felix Kriedemann won the HB.

SUU 195.25 at San Jose State 196.175

SJSU's Lauren Macpherson won the AA with a 39.375 and tied for 1st on BB with SUU's Ellie Cacciola. Spartan Jaudai Lopes won VT while teammate Cameron Kalperis won FX. SJSU's Katherine Weyhmiller tied for 1st on UB with SUU's Shylen Murakami.

Temple was led by wins from Cyrena Whalen on UB, Madison Dirunda on BB and Brooke Donabedian on FX. Fisk's Aliyah Reed-Hammon and Morgan Price tied for 1st on VT. Price took the AA with a 39.325.

Towson 195.95 at Denver 198.15

DU's Lynnzee Brown posted a 10 to win FX. She also won VT and the AA (39.725). Teammate Jessica Hutchinson won BB while DU's Alexandra Ruiz and Rylie Mundell tied for 1st on UB.

Stanford 196.825 at UCLA 198.175

Bruin Jordan Chiles won UB with a 10, the BB and FX with 9.975s en route to a 39.875 AA. Teammate Chae Campbell won VT with a perfect 9.95 (9.95 Start Value).

WVU was led by Kianna Yancey, who won the AA with a 39.45 and who tied for 1st on BB with teammate Kendra Combs and Pitt's Reyna Garvey. WVU's Emily Holmes-Hackerd won the FX.  Teammate Abbie Pierson tied with CMU's Elizabeth Cesarone for 1st on VT. Chippewa Luciana Alvarado-Reid placed 1st on UB.

BGSU 196.2, LIU 196.1 at MSU 198.225

MSU score two 10s and broke five records en route to a record 198.225 tally.  Nikki Smith won VT with a 10 and took the AA with a 39.775 to lead MSU. Teammate Jori Jackard won UB with a 10. Spartan Baleigh Garcia won BB while teammate Delanie Harkness won FX.

The Buckeyes picked up wins from Sydney Jennings on VT, Elexis Edwards on FX (9.975), Payton Harris in the AA (39.5) and Nicole Riccardi and Alexis Hankins on UB. Illini Mia Takekawa won BB (9.975).

Arkansas 197.15, Georgia 196.875

Arkansas' Norah Flatley won the AA (39.55) and tied for the BB title with teammate Cami Weaver. GymBack Lauren Williams won VT and teammate Maddie Jones tied for 1st on UB with UGA's JaFree Scott and Katie Finnegan. UGA's Soraya Hawthorne won FX.

Maryland celebrated Senior Day with a season high.  The Terps were led by wins from Emma Silberman in the AA (39.2), Alexsis Rubio on VT and Maddie Komoroski on FX. Teammate Aleka Tsiknias tied for 1st on UB with Penn's Mccaleigh Marr. UNH's Alyssa Worthington won BB.

Raegan Walker won VT and BB to lead Yale. Yale also picked up wins from Sarah Wilson on UB, Hana Strause on FX and GiGi Sabatini in the AA (38.825)

Ithaca picked up wins from Kaylie Goodwin on VT, Zoe Kyriakopoulos on UB and Cameryn Nichols on BB.  Springfield's Christina Wygonik won FX.

2024-5 Love Birt to Alabama

Love Birt, First State Gymnastics, missed much of the '22 season, presumably due to injury.  She resumed her competition schedule this season and recently won her session of the WOGA Classic
