Kadence Nguyen, Pearland Elite, placed 13th AA at regionals last season. Her season was off to a slow start, competing just bars and beam, but she competed all events at the Yellow Rose Invitational (8th AA).
Mackenzie Flutman, Flipstar Gymnastics Academy, placed 12th AA at regionals last season. She has two top five finishes this season.
Maddy Matassa, Docksiders, placed 38th AA at nationals last season. She has placed in the top 8 AA in five of her six '22 meets.
Janie Ottenbreit, Olympia Gymnastics Academy, has placed in the top 10 AA in five of her six '22 meets.
Brenna Mills, Virginia Tehcniques, placed 14th AA at regionals last season. This season she has competed three events in her meets.
In a webcast today, the NCAA announced the team seeds and placements for the 2022 Women's Gymnastics Regional Competitions for both teams and individuals. Teams are listed after the link, in seed order. The last two teams are in the "play-in" round. All Regionals will be on ESPN+.
Tali Joelson, Cascade Elite, has been competing three events this season. She has tallied three vault and three floor wins.
Oklahoma just edged Florida for the #1 slot in the final Regular Season National Rankings, as compiled by RoadtoNationals.com. OU edged Florida 198.14 to 198.135. A little over a tenth behind is Michigan at 198.015 and then Utah at 197.92.
OU frosh Fuzzy Benas posted the highest AA tally in the NCAA, an 84.5, to lead the Sooners to the win. He also won VT, PB and tied for the FX title with classmate Emre Dodani. OU also picked up wins from Zach Nunez on PH, Spencer Goodell on SR and Jack Freeman on HB.

Illinois blasted to the second highest score in the NCAA this year to win the meet hosted by Air Force. The Illini were led by wins from Ian Skirkey on PH and Hamish Carter in the AA (82.9). For Air Force, Oliver Zavel won FX with a strong 14.6. Navy's Isaiah Drake won the VT and HB to lead his squad. Teammate Josh Williams won R while teammate Dhiren Lutchman took the PB.

Florida held off Bama to take the SEC Championship title. Trinity Thomas led Florida to the win, taking the AA with and 39.825 and taking both the VT and FX. AU's Sunisa Lee won the UB with a 10. Gator Leanne Wong won the BB

Ute Grace McCallum won UB with a 10 and tied for 1st on FX with Beaver Jade Carey. Carey won the AA with a 39.725. On VT, Ute Alexia Burch won the title while on BB, it was her teammate Abby Paulson who was named champion.

Utah State posted a big 197.025 to take the MRGC title for the very first time. USU's Rebecca Wells won the AA title with a 39.4 and teammate Carley Bayles won BB while Aggie Brie Clark took the FX. USU's Maia Fishwick tied for the UB title with Boise St's Emily Muhlenhaupt and SUU's Shylen Murakami. BYU's Sadie Miner-Van Tasell won the VT.

Michigan broke 198 once again to win the Big 10 title, their 26th title. MSU continued their rise with 2nd and Iowa placed 3rd, despite competing in Session 1. Michigan's Abby Heiskell tied for titles on UB and FX en route to a 39.7 AA win. Teammate Sierra Brooks won VT with a 10. Minnesota's Lexy Ramler and Colby Miller shared the UB title with Heiskell. Ramler also tied on BB with Illini Mia Takekawa and UMich's Natalie Wojcik. Minn's Mya Hooten and Iowa's Lauren Guerin also tied with Heiskell for the FX title.
San Jose State capped off a stellar year with a win at the MPSF Championships. They also will move on to Regionals. SJSU's Jada Mazury won the AA with a 39.35 to lead the Spartans. She also won the UB and tied for the FX title with Aggie Megan Ray. Spartan Madison Kirsch won VT while teammate Emma Milne won BB.
