Lydia Hayden, CGI, won the Sweetheart meet and placed 15th AA at the Pikes Peak Cup
Sofia Obregon, JamJev Gymnastics, qualified to regionals in 2021. She recently placed 1st on beam and 2nd AA at the Coaches Spectacular and 4th AA at the Arizona Classic Rock meet.
We're just over half way through the season, and we are about to transition to final stretch. After a rough first few weeks as many teams worked through various COVID protocols and the resulting cancelled meets, we have settled into a regular pattern of meets. Teams are breaking records left and right, and the average teams scores are on a record pace this season. Here's a few thoughts and impressions about the season thus far.
The Buckeyes were led by Elexis Edwards, who tied for the title on VT (with teammate Jenna Hlavach and NU's Kinsey Davis) and FX (with teammate Alexis Hankins). tOSU's Colby Miller and Nicole Riccardi tied for first on UB. Husker Davis also tied for the BB title with teammate Kathryn Thaler.
