The US will be represented in Tokyo by Stanford's Brody Malone, former Michigan star Sam Mikulak, former OU star Yul Moldauer, Minnesota's Shane Wiskus and former Ohio State star Alec Yoder (event specialist). Five replacement althletes were named: Michigan's Cameron Bock, Former OU Sooner Allan Bower, Stanford's Brandon Briones, Illini alum Alex Diab and former Stanford star Akash Modi.

Simone Biles posted a 60.565 by hitting all four events and reshowing her double twisting double tuck off BB. Second was Auburn signee Sunisa Lee at 57.666 while UCLA signee Jordan Chiles was third at 57.132.
Brown Head Coach Sara Carver-Milne has announced an incoming class of five: Julia Bedell, Maya Davis, Addie Liebhardt, Taylor Schulze and Sophia Sokolowsky. We previously reported the commits of all but Bedell.
Samantha Wu, a L10 at West Valley, has committed to an offer from UC Davis. This past season, she placed 3rd AA with a career high 38.4 at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge but did not compete in the post-season. In 2019, she placed 11th AA at the Region I L10 Regionals.

UNC has named Danna Durante as their new Head Coach. Durante was a former Head Coach at UGA and Cal, and an assistant at Nebraska and Washington. A former star at ASU, she was also an elite and former National Team member.

2021 US and NCAA National Champion Brody Malone of Stanford leads the field at the US Olympic Trials. After Day 1, he leads Minnesota senior Shane Wiskus, former OU NCAA champ Yul Moldauer, and Olympian former NCAA champ Sam Mikulak (ex Michigan). Stanford's Brandon Briones is close behind in 5th, but just 1.05 points separates 5th to 10th.
Kira Sanchez, a L10 from Premier (CO), has committed to Long Island University for 2021-2022, according to her Instagram. At the 2021 Region 3 L10 Regionals, she placed 10th AA. She was also 10th at Regionals in 2019.
Temple has added former Lindenwood standout Kierstin Sokolowski as an assistant.

Linda Zivat, who originally attended MSU in 2019-2020 but did not compete due to injury, will transfer to Iowa for 2021-2022. In 2019, she tied for 1st on VT, 5th on FX and 6th AA at the L10 Nationals.
Deiah Moody, a L10 and former junior international elite from Metroplex, has committed to Washington for 2021-2022. Moody was formerly committed to Michigan but did not sign last fall.
Shannon Farrell, Hayley Perkins and Maylen Pulliam have signed with Alaska. Farrell, an Australian native, is a transfer from SCSU. Perkins is a Canadian athlete. Pulliam is a Level 10 from Georgia Elite.

The US Supreme Court ruled in favor of a group of former athletes serving as plaintiffs in a case against the NCAA. The Court upheld a lower court ruling that the NCAA could not enforce limits on education-related expenses. This could include benefits like computers, graduate scholarships and others. It left in place restrictions on non-academic compensation. Individual conferences will be able to set their own limits.
