Nicki Shapiro quit the sport after her freshman season. She started training again this summer and has earned a spot on the UCLA roster for the upcoming season.
Nandini Senthil from Bay Aerials has committed to UC Davis. Last season she finished 15th AA at her state meet and 16th AA at her regional meet.
Haley Tyson, a L10 from Phenom, has committed to Minnesota for 2021-2022, according her Instagram and the region5gyminsider. She's a two-time L10 JO National Team Member ('17, '18) who finished 8th AA, 6th(t) on UB and 8th on VT at the 2019 JO Nationals. She was also the FX co-champ in 2018.

Gabrielle Stephen, a L10 from MEGA, has committed to Michigan State, according to an instagram post and the region5gyminsider. At the 2019 Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals, she finished 3rd on UB, 4th(t) on VT and 22nd(t) AA. She also tied for 28th AA in 2018.

DU has confirmed the addition of Amoree Lockhart and will also welcome Victoria Fitts for the 2020 season. Both will graduate early and join the team in December. Fitts is an in-state L10 from Premier who was previously published as a 2020-2021 commit.

Reyna Guggino, a L10 at Tampa Bay Turners, has committed to Michigan for 2020-2021, according to a site submission. She was previously committed to EMU.

Simone Biles won two more gold medals to bring her career total to 19 as the World Championships concluded. Her 25 overall medals are the most by any gymnast, male of female. AU commit Sunisa Lee won the silver on FX. Utah commit Kara Eaker was 4th on BB while UCLA commit Brooklyn Moors was 7th on FX. On the Men's side, former NCAA Champ (Michigan) Sam Mikulak was fifth on HB. Former Illini All-American Tyson Bull of Australia was 7th.
Sarah Girot, a L10 from DeVeau's has committed to Towson for 2020-2021, according to the region5gyminsider. At the 2019 Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals, she finished 34th AA.
Simone Biles hit a nearly perfect Amanar to win her 22nd World Championship medal and her third Gold of the championships. Oregon State commit Jade Carey won the silver. On UB, AU commit Sunisa Lee won the broze. Belgium's Nina Derwael won the Gold.
Simona Kerekes from Brestyans as committed to Towson. She placed 3rd AA at her 2019 state meet. She earned the regionals crown on bars and competed to a 53rd AA spot at JOs.
Russia's Nikita Nagornyy won the 2019 Men's World AA title in Stuttgart today. Teammate Artur Dalaloyan was 2nd, while the Ukraine's Oleg Verniaiev was 3rd. Former NCAA champ and Michigan star Sam Mikulak was leading by a small marging at the midway point but fell off the PH to finish 7th. Former NCAA champ and OU star Yul Moldauer was 16th.

Simone Biles of the US, as expected, won the AA gold (her fifth AA gold) with a 58.99. She posted the highest scores of the day on VT, BB and FX, and the 3rd highest on UB. China's Tang Xijing was 2nd and Russia's Angelina Melnikova was 3rd. AU commit Sunisa Lee was 8th after problems on UB and ULCA commit Brooklyn Moors was 14th.

Anna Speller from Team Central Gymnastics has committed to SEMO. She finished 3rd AA at 2019 regionals and 32nd AA at JOs.
Russia outpaced China to win the Men's World Team Title. Japan was third. The US was greatly improved from their struggles in prelims, posting fourth with a quintet of former and current NCAAers (Trevor Howard - ex PSU, Sam Mikulak - ex Michigan, Yul Moldauer - ex OU, Akash Modi - ex Stanford, Shane Wiskus, Minnesota).

Led by Simone Biles' 59.766, the US women overcame two major mistakes to win the gold medal by 5.801 points over Russia. Italy scored a historic bronze, counting just one fall. The US squad features Oregon State commit Jade Carey, AU commit Sunisa Lee and Utah commits Kara Eaker and Grace McCallum. Canada, featuring Bama star Shallon Olsen and UCLA commit Brooklyn Moors, finished 7th.

Russian was the top qualifier as the Men's Qualification ends in Stuttgart. The US, after a shaky competition, qualified to the 2020 Olympics. They also made the Team Final. Former OU star Yul Moldaeur and former Michigan star Sam Mikulak both made the AA final. Mikulak had a rough day, and appears to have won the tie-breaker for the last spot in finals. He also qualified to the HB final.
