The newly crowned winner of this year's Nastia Liukin Cup has announced her commitment to Ohio State. This season she picked up AA wns at Circle of Stars (1st V/UB), Heart of a Champion (1st V/UB/BB/FX), the Greensboro Invitational (1st V/BB/FX) and the Liukin Cup Jr. Division (1st BB). This weekend she won her state meet and placed 1st V/UB/BB.
Kentucky counted a fall and posted a 196.025, enough for the win at Illinois St but not enough to improve their RQS. Kentucky is looking to hold off challengers as the current #9 ranked team, and preserve a more favorable Regional placement.
UCLA's Katelyn Ohashi won FX with a 10 and tied on UB with teammate Kyla Ross to lead UCLA to the Senior Night Win. Bruin Peng-Peng Lee, a sixth year senior, won BB while senior teammate Pua Hall won the VT (9.975)
