Marissa Nychyk, L10 at Coast Elite Gymnastics in Florida, has committed to Ball State. She recently placed 1st AA and 1st on bars and floor at her state meet. She placed 16th AA at Regionals.
Rachel Smith of Gymstars in Tennessee has committed to Southern Utah. This season she placed 1st on vault and 2nd AA at her state meet. She also placed 1st on vault and 2nd AA at Regionals.
Senior Elite Leah Clapper has informed us that she has accepted a scholarship offer from Florida. We previously announced her early commitment to PSU.
Twelve teams have made it to St. Louis, and will battle it out over the weekend for the National Championships. It all starts Friday, and we'll have live links up as usual and links to all the coverage as it happens. On Friday, we start with the Preliminaries, with six teams looking to be one of three teams that advance from each session to the Super Six finals.
Champions were crowned in the Event Finals at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Nationals.
TWU reclaimed the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Title, defeating Bridgeport (195.5), Lindenwood (195.375), and Cornell (194.95) in a closely contested and thrilling finale.

Oklahoma posted a 432.2 to win the MPSF Conference Title for the sixth consecutive time. Stanford was 2nd at 426.85, Cal 3rd at 410.1 and Air Force 4th at 402.9.

William and Mary won the ECAC Championships, posting a 404.7 to defeat Navy (402.55), Army (392.45), Springfield (392.2) and UIC (384.55).

LIndenwood posted a 195.1 to win Session II of the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Nationals. TWU was 2nd at 194.25, holding off host SPU in the final round (193.775). Yale was fourth at 192.975 and Brown fifth at 192.225.
WCU's Majesta Valentine's 39.2 AA in Session I held up as the top mark on the day, earning her a National Title.

Ohio State posted a 418.6 to defend their Big 10 Men's Gymnastics Team Championship. It is the 14th title in the school's history. Illinois was 2nd at 416.3 and Minnesota third at 413.3. PSU was 4th at 411.2, just ahead of NU at 410.0. Iowa was sixth at 402.15 and Michigan finished 7th at 401.25.
Sean Melton of Ohio State won the AA with an 85.05. Teammate Jake Martin was 2nd at 83.3 while NU's Anton Stephenson was 3rd at 82.35.

Session 2 will begin this evening at 7PDT. Team Finals will take place Saturday and Event Finals will take place on Sunday

We will follow up with a list of senior JO qualifers and their commitment status (if known) later. Generally, the top 7 AAers qualifiy so long as they meet the minimum score of 35.00.
Triniti Barron will join the Illinois State team next fall. She competes at Level 10 for Action Gymnastics in New Jersey.
Tia Kiaku will head to Ball State in the fall. She is a Level 10 from Highpoint Gymnastics in North Carolina. Her meets this season included a win (1st AA, vault and floor) at the Excalibur Cup.
