Rachael Donovan has informed us that she is no longer committed to PSU. Rachael is a 2015 grad who competes for Parkettes.
OU continues to hold the top spot in the Troester.com GymInfo Men's National Rankings for the week of January 20th. Michigan is 2nd.
After a big weekend, Stanford's Akash Modi is the top AAer. He also leads the PB. The other event leaders are: Alec Robin (OU) on FX; Michael Newburger (OSU) on PH; Landon Funiciello (W&M) on R; Larry Mayer (OSU) on VT; Misha Koudinov (OSU) on HB.
Gianna O'Conner won the AA with a 39.25 to lead the Illini to the win. Teammate Sunny Kato won the UB and tied with teammate Elizabeth McNabb for the BB title. Illini Amber See won the vault while frosh teammate Erin Buchanan won the FX.

Emily White, L10 at Highpoint in N.C., has committed to Iowa State. Last season Emily qualified to JOs with an 8th place AA finish at regionals. She finished 2nd AA at L9 Easterns in 2012. This season Emily has competed to a 1st place finish at the COTC and a 15th place finish at the Atlanta Crown.
Both teams set new season highs as UGA completed a busy two weeks with a win over Iowa. Lindsey Cheek led UGA, winning vault and sharing the UB and BB titles. She tied on UB with teammates Kiera Brown and Brittany Rogers and on BB with teammate Kaylan Earls. Gym Dog Brandie Jay won FX, while Rogers won the AA with a 39.525.
Iowa's team score rose a remarkable 5.8 points from Saturday, as they eliminated a series of falls.

OU retains its lead at the top of the GymInfo Women's National Rankings for the week of January 20th. LSU is 2nd and Florida is third and is the top team on BB. UGA is the leader on UB and Utah is the top team on vault. UCLA leads the FX.
UCLA held off Oregon State, overcoming problems on BB to post a 49.45 on FX and take the meet. Sydney Sawa won VT and FX (9.975) to lead the Bruins. Teammates Sophina DeJesus and Danusia Francis won UB and BB, respectively.

Stanford scored a tri-meet win on Sunday, led by Kristina Vaculik's 39.425 AA win. Vaculik also won the UB and shared the FX title with teammate Pauline Hanset. Teammate Amanda Spinner won the BB. Arizona's Shelby Edwards and Kristin Klarenbach tied for the vault title with Stanford's Nicolette McNair.

Ursinus scored an easy win at home, led by wins from Kristina Steffenhagen and Kristin Aichele on floor and vault, respectively. For Ithaca, Shilanna Gallo won UB and Lara Haberle won BB.

Wisconsin Whitewater rolled to the win, led by a 1 go 6 sweep of the UB, led by Cici Talcott. That was enough to offset Hamline, who was powered by Courtney Benson. Benson won the AA (37.925), BB and FX. Teammate Kambria Blakely won the VT.

Rutgers continued its roll of 195+ meets with a win over host Ohio State. Luisa Leal again led the way for Rutgers, winning the AA with a 39.25. She tied for the FX title with Melanie Shaffer of Ohio State. Teammate Jenna Williams tied for the BB title with Ohio State's Victoria Aepli. Aepli also won the UB. The Buckeyes Sarah Miller won the VT.

Lindsay Mable of Minnesota won the Vault and tied for the FX title with teammate Kylie Schermann en route to a 39.45 AA win. Teammate Cierra Tomson won the UB. UNH's Kayla Gray won the BB, as the Wildcats outpointed the Gophers on that event.

Kent State's Marie Case won the floor and tied for the UB title (with NC States Brittni Watkins and Stephanie Ouellette) to lead the hosts to the win. Watkins won the VT, BB and AA (39.4) to pace the Wolfpack.

Raine Gordon, L10 at Waller's in California, has accepted a scholarship offer from UNC. Last seasn Raine qualified to regionals. So far this season she has competed to a 3rd place finish on floor at the OC Classic (9th AA) and the Texas Prime (5th AA).
A final rotation comeback lifted Michigan to a win in a close team race at the Windy City Invite. Ohio State and Illinois tied for second at 436.05, just behind Michigan's 437.5. Minnesota was fourth at 424.8, Iowa fifth at 417.7, and UIC sixth at 395.5.

TWU set a home opener record in a win over Air Force. For TWU, TWU Brittany Johnson led the way, posting a win on UB and BB. Teammates Bethany Larimer and Brittany Montalbano won the vault and floor, respectively.
