Six gymnasts have committed to Cornell University during the early decision process and were accepted by the school in December. We previously reported the commitments from Taylor Madison and Corinne Weyrauch. Joining them on next year's team are:
As reported earlier, MSU's Kathryn Mahoney suffered a recent spinal injury. It is now reported that she remains paralyzed from the neck down, but there is hope that she will continue to regain some function according to published reports. Our thoughts are with Kathryn, her family and her team.

Brittany Marcsisin, L10 from Arena Gymnastics in Hamilton, NJ, has committed to join the University of Pittsburgh this fall. Her 2010 season was highlighted by a 2nd AA finish at the Robin Cone Memorial meet and a 3rd AA finish at the Long Island Classic. She recently competed two events at the Star Struck Invitational, finishing 2nd on V.
Madison Sevilla, L10 from Flips Gymnastics in Minnesota, has committed to Wisconsin-Stout. Sevilla competed beam and floor through the 2010 season, finishing 3rd on both events at the Salto National Invitational.
Kimberly McRobbie, L10 at WOGA, has committed to compete for Air Force. McRobbie placed no lower that 10th AA in any her meets last season, including 2nd AA finishes at the Pikes Peak meet and the Houston National Invitational.
Shannon Mitchell, L10 at Hills in Maryland, has committed to Kentucky for next season. In 2010, Mitchell won beam at the Maryland Classic, finished 2nd AA at the Tim Rand Invitational and placed 1st AA (1st V/FX) at her state meet. She finished off her season with a 10th place finish at regionals.
Lauren Brodie, L10 from Gymnastics World in Ohio, has committed to New Hampshire. Brodie had numerous top 5 finishes in 2010, including 1st place AA finishes at the Magical Classic (1st UB), the Queen City Classic (1st UB/BB), and the Ohio state meet (1st UB).
Taylor Madison, L9 from Airborne in California, has committed to Cornell for next season. Her 2010 season was highlighted by 3rd place finishes at the Spirit of the Flame (1st UB) and the Malibu Coast Meet. She finished her season at the NorCal meet, placing 9th AA (2nd UB; 3rd V).
