There are significant shakeups in the Women's National Rankings for the week of February 26th, as the rankings switch to the National Qualifying Score (NQS). The NQS is calculated by taking a team's top three away scores, then their next three highest scores, tossing out the high, and averaging the rest. What hasn't changed is OU is still the #1 team, with LSU #2, just ahead of Cal. Utah is #4 and Florida #5. Teams have been able to discard some early season low scores helping them rise in the rankings, like Michigan.
Cal won the virtual matchup on Sunday, led by wins from Brendan Strom on FX, Aidan Li on PH, Jaxon Mitchell on R, Jasper Smith-Gordon on VT, Noah Newfeld on PB and Darren Wong on HB.
