Minnesota had a quick turnaround from Saturday and they flew halfway across the country to meet Washington. The trip served them well, as they eliminated the major mistakes that plagued them on Saturday. The meet started well for the Gophers, with five hit routines and a win for Cierra Tomson on the UB. She went on to win the AA with a 39.375. The Gophers moved on to vault, where they were led by Jenny Covers' 9.9 for her stuck Yurchenko Full. National floor leader Lindsay Mable hit her tumbling just like on Saturday (double pike; Rudi, straddle jump punch front; back layout 1 1/2 to front layout) for a 9.9 win. The Gophers then banked five no-fall routines on BB, led by Hanna Nordquist.
