Penn Promotes Becker to Head Coach

Penn has promoted former Assistant and Quaker standout Kirsten (Strausbaugh) Becker as the new Head Coach.   She's been an assistant for the last five years.  Former Head Coach John Ceralde resigned on March 19th.  Link:  Penn Release

UF's Rowland Named WCGA Coach of the Year

Florida's Jenny Rowland has been named the National Coach of the Year by the WCGA.  OU's Lou Ball and Tom Haley were named Assistant Coaches of the Year.   Link:  UF Release

OU's Maggie Nichols Wins AAI Award

OU's Maggie Nichols was named the winner of the AAI Award.  She's the first Sooner to win the award, which is given to the most outstanding senior gymnast (W).  The other finalists were LSU's Kennedi Edney, NU's Taylor Houchin, DU's Maddie Karr, UK's Mollie Korth and UCLA's Kyla Ross. Link: …
The most prestigious honor in men's gymnastics goes to Stephen Nedoroscik.  The award is given the top senior male gymnast each year.  He's the first specialist to be ever honored.  Announcement
