China won the Men's Team title at the World Championships, ahead of Japan and Germany. The US finished fourth, posting the highest total of the day on HB and the lowest on PH.

The US qualified in third place to the Men's Team Final at the World Championships. OU grad Jonathan Horton advanced to the AA final, while current Sooner Stephen Legendre qualified on FX. A third ex Sooner, Chris Brooks, qualified on the HB. Ohio State's Brandon Wynn is a reserve on Rings.

Stanford tops the 2010-2011 Men's Preseason Coaches' Poll, as published by Troester Gym Info. Stanford received 7 first place votes, the same as Michigan, which is listed as #2. OU picked up two first place votes to rank third. The defending National Champion Wolverines nipped the Cardinal for the title last season.
Nebraska has announced the hiring of former Husker athlete John Robinson as an assistant on the Men's team. The 2010 NU grad replaces Phil Cahoy, Sr.

Former OU star Jonathan Horton defended his AA title Friday night, successfully winning the VISA Championships. In 2nd was Danell Leyva, who also captured the PB title while holding off Ohio State's Brandon Wynn, who also won Rings. OU grad Chris Brooks was 4th and 1st on HB while Cal's Glen Ishino was fifth. NCAAers excelled in the event finals, with Josh Dixson of Stanford taking the FX title and Daniel Ribiero of Illinois taking the PH title. OU's Steven Legendre won the VT title, breaking 17 with a 17.05 for the 2nd time in a row.

Charley Nelson, the assistant men's coach at UIC, has been named Head Coach. He replaces CJ Johnson, who retires at the end of the month after 36 years.

Current and former collegians posted the top scores on the individual events: Stanford's Josh Dixon on FX; Illinois' Daniel Ribiero on PH; OU's Steve Legendre on VT with a meet-high 17.05; former OU star Chris Brooks on PB and HB. Current and former NCAAers also dominate the senior standings.
In the Junior Men's division, Michigan bound Sam Mikulak took the AA title and won three individual events (PH, HB and share of PB title). Jacoby Rubin was 2nd while Wyatt Aycock (NU signee) was third.
