NCGA Championships: UW-Oskosh Wins Title

UW-Oshkosh posted a big 194.975 to win the NCGA Championships.  UW-Whitewater was 2nd at 193.575 and UW-La Crosse 3rd at 193.175.  Brockport was just behind at 193.175 for 4th.  UW-Stout was 5th at 191.625 and Courtland St 6th at 190.925.  Oshkosh was led by Mia Lucero and Emily Buffington.  Buffington took the AA at 39.175 and tied for 1st on UB with Whitewater's Hayden Gough.  Lucero won the FX and tied for 1st on VT with Brockport's Maren Eramo.   Winona State's Bryce Stoltz won the BB.

Towson posted another big score to win the EAGL Championships.  Towson was led by wins from Isabella Minervini on UB, Grace Vaillancourt on BB, and Retoshia Halsell and Elise Tisler on VT. GWU's Kendall Whitman won FX while LIU's Syd Morris won the AA (39.475)

Missouri was led by Mara Titarsolej, who posted the top mark on UB and Sienna Schreiber, Kennedy Griffin and Jocelyn Moore, who shared the top mark on FX with Ark's Maddie Jones.  On VT, Tiger Hannah Horton shared the top mark on VT with AU's Julianne Huff and Cassie Stevens. UGA's Lily Smith was the top AAer in the session at 39.6, and shares the top mark on BB with teammate Anya Turner.

Stanford's Chloe Widner leads the AA (39.5) and holds the top mark on BB. Teammate Anna Roberts has the top mark on FX. Arizona's Alysen Fears has the top mark on VTWashington's Skylar Killough-Wilhelm has the top mark on UB.

MAC Championships: WMU Takes Title

WMU upset their higher ranked conference mate #23 Kent St and #35 Ball State for the title:   WMU 196.525, Ball St 196.475, Kent St 196.325, CMU 195.925, NIU 194.675, EMU 194, BGSU 193.45  Ball St's Zoe Middleton won the AA (39.525) and tied for 1st on BB and FX. On BB, WMU's Amanda Gruber, NIU's Alyssa Al-Ashari and EMU's Ella Chemotti shared 1st with Middleton.  On FX, Ball St's Suki Pfister, BGSU's Kathryn Weilbacher, CMU's Hallie Hornbacher and WMU's Dani Petrousek and Cassie St. Claire also shared the top spot with Middleton. On VT, NIU's Kiera O'Shea tied for 1st with Kent St's Nastia Rudnitskaya.  On UB, Ball St's Ashley Szymanski and CMU's Luciano Alvarado-Reid tied for 1st.

NU's Emma Spence was 1st in the AA (39.45) and is tied for 1st on UB with UMD's Alexa Rothenbuescher and Rhea LeBlanc.  UMD's Madeline Komoroski is tied for 1st on BB with Illini Mia Takekawa. On VT, NU's Csenge Bacskay and Illini Arielle Ward share the top spot. On FX, ten gymnasts are tied for 1st on FX: Rothenbuscher, Spence and teammates Martina Comin and Sophia McClelland, Iowa's Bailey Libby, Illini Kadyn Fitzgibbon and Mia Townes, Rutger's Gabrielle Dildy, and PSU's Amani Herring and Isabella Salcedo.

For SCSU, Jayci Jordan and Gigi Mastellone are tied for 1st on UB and Angel Lee placed 1st on BB. Cornell's Sydney Beers is 1st in the AA (39.25) and VT.  Her teammate, Alexandra Quiana, tops the leaderboard on FX.

Air Force won the USAG Men's Collegiate Championship title on Friday, posting a 401.65.  Navy was 2nd at 398.25, Greenville 3rd at 390.75, Springfield 4th at 388.35, W&M fifth at 381.35 and Simpson 6th at 358.85.  Falcon Erich Upton won the AA with a 79.2.  Springfield's Sam Kaplan was 2nd and W&M's Gavin Zborowski was 3rd.  The meet includes the military academies and those programs that sponsor gymnastics as a varsity sport and offer 2 or fewer equivalent scholarships.  The event finals are on Saturday.

2025-2026: Garscia to WVU

Monet Garscia, a L10 from Classic Gymnastics (MN), has committed to a full scholarship at WVU, starting in 2025-2026.  In 2023, she placed 31st AA at the Women's Development Program (WDP) L10 Nationals, after winning her division at the Region 4 L10 Regionals.  She also placed 43rd AA at the 2022 WDP L10 Natonals.

2025-2026: O'Neill to Oregon State

Ela (Rafaela) O'Neill has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Oregon State, starting in 2025-2026.  The L10 from Airborne has returned to competition in 2024 after missing the 2022 and 2023 seasons.  In 2021, she tied for 6th on BB, 9th on UB and placed 12th AA at the Women's Development Program L10 Nationals.
