Utah rises to #1 while Arkansas slips to #2 in this week's ranking. Florida, after their big win this weekend, rises to #3. Former co-number one UCLA drops to seventh.
Individually, Alaina Johnson of Florida takes over the top spot in the AA standings. Bama's Ashley Sledge is the top vaulter, Oregon State's Leslie Mak the top beamer, and Jaime Pisani of Arkansas the top floor worker. Three athletes are tied for the top spot on bars: Mariah Howdeshell of Arkansas, Morgan Evans of UNC, and Janelle Giblin of NU.
Ryann Anderson, L10 at Southeastern Gymnastics in N.C., has committed to Air Force. Last season she finished 2nd AA (1st BB) at her state meet and qualified to regionals where she placed 14th AA. So far this season she has placed 2nd AA (1st BB) at The Gala and 11th AA at the Sand Dollar.
William and Mary defeated the club program at James Madison to win the State Open. They amassed a 316.5.

UNC posted a win in their home opener, defeating William and Mary. Morgan Evans led the way for UNC, winning the AA (38.625), UB (where she led the Nation last week) and tying for the FX title with teammate Kristin Aloi. Teammate Zoya Johnson won the VT and the BB.

WMU posted the second highest score in team history. For the Broncos, Caroline O'Brien won the UB while Michelle Adams took the FX and Taylor Zondervan, the AA (38.95). BGSU's Jamilah Ali won the beam while three teammates tied for the vault title: Lacey Swords, Dawn Christman and Danielle Wishart.

WVU rolled to a season-high in their home victory. For the Mountaineers, Nicole Roach won the UB and tied for the BB title with teammate Kaylyn Millick. WVU's Alaska Richardson won the floor and tied for the vault title with teammate Hope SloanHoffer. SloanHoffer then took the AA with a 39.2.
