OU Head Coach KJ Kindler has announced a total of five gymnasts will be joining Oklahoma's women's squad. Four of the five commits were covered in prior news items. Said Coach Kindler in a release, "When it comes to drive, determination, talent and commitment they are certainly not short of those attributes. I am thrilled to call them Sooners."
Hayden Ward, a L10 from Dynamo, will be joining the team early, in time for the start of the season in January.
Erica Brewer is a L10 from Champion in Kentucky.
Rebecca Clark is a senior international elite who has been training at GAGE.
Madison Mooring is a L10 who now trains at Dynamo. According to our records, Mooring initially committed to Nebraska. An earlier commit, Caitlin Mann, did not appear in the release.
Haley Sorensen is a L10 from Cypress who has completed necessary paperwork to confirm her acceptance of admission.

Jacqueline Lucci has committed to Pitt, according to her site user profile. Lucci is a L10 at the Parkettes.

Asi (Matalasiaufaiga) Peko has committed to UCLA for 2012-2013, according to a site submission. Peko is a former jr. international elite and US National team member who currently trains as a L10 at Brown's Las Vegas. In 2010, she won the National Title on FX at the L10 Nationals, in the Junior C division. She also placed 3rd AA, 2nd(t) VT and 8th(t) BB at the meet. In 2008, she placed 4th AA, 2nd FX, and 2nd on VT at the VISA (US) Championships.

Jordyn Beck, a L10 who trains at McCracken's in Kansas has committed to Nebraska, according to a site submission. This past season, she placed 3rd AA at the Chicago Style Meet and the Pink Ribbon Invitational, and competed in the elite division at Metroplex and Buckeye. In 2009, she placed 32nd AA at the L10 Nationals, and then later in the season, qualified to the US Classics in the junior division.

Kaitlyn Betts has committed to attend and compete for Kent State, according to a site submission. The 2011 grad trains as a L10 at Euro Stars in Michigan. At the 2010 Region V L10 Regionals, she placed 11th AA, 3rd on UB and 4th(t) on VT. She then competed at the 2010 JO NIT meet, placing 3rd AA in Senior C.

Caitlin Brown has committed to Iowa State for 2011-2012, according to her club. Brown is a L10 who trains at TAGS South in Minnesota. At the 2010 L10 Nationals, she placed 5th on BB and tied for 13th AA at the L10 Nationals. She was also 40th AA in 2009.
Kara Koster, a L10 at Arena in Illinois, has committed to Auburn for 2012-2013. At the 2010 L10 Nationals, she finished 9th(t) on UB and 21st AA. In 2009, she tied for 27th AA.

Alicia Sacramone of the US (ex-Brown) won the World title on the VT, after capping a successful comeback from retirement. She defeated the World AA champ, Aliya Mustafina, when Mustafina's 2nd vault was downgraded for not showing the intended position. Veterans and post-college age athletes dominated in the AA final, with only Men's FX winner Eleftherios Kosmidis at 19 the only winner younger than 22. OU's Steven Legendre placed 8th in the FX final after some problems. The USA's Rebecca Bross finished third on UB, behind winner Beth Tweddle, after defending champion He Kexin fell. In fourth was former World AA champ Bridget Sloan of the US.
