Happy New Year! The season kicks off January 4th, and just in time, we've updated quick capsule previews of the Preseason Top 25 teams. See who's graduated, who's incoming, and how many routines are returning from last season. Check out the link in the News/Features section of the site.
Alyssa Baumann, an junior elite from WOGA, has committed to Florida according to Gym-style, her webmaster. Alyssa competed at US Nationals in 2010 after making the jump to elite from L9. She won her L9 Western national meet that year.
Elana Molotsky, L10 from Jersey Jets Gymnastics, will join the Cornell team this fall. Elana qualified to regionals in 2011 and 2012.
Arianna Ruth, L10 at Desert Lights in Arizona, has committed to Arizona State. Last season she finished 1st AA at her state meet and went on to qualify to the NIT, where she finished 19th AA.
Anna and Grace Glenn, L10s from Southeastern in North Carolina, have committed to UCLA. At the 2012 Region 8 Championships, Anna placed 1st AA, 2nd(t) on VT and UB and 2nd on BB. She was 1st UB, 2nd BB and 4th VT at 2012 JO Nationals. Grace finished 2nd AA, 1st VT and BB and 3rd FX at the 2012 Region 8 Championships. At 2012 JO Nationals, she was 3rd(t) AA and 4th(t) UB. Grace is a member of the 2012 JO National Team.
Makenzie Anderson, L10 at Twin City Twisters in Minnesota, has committed to Arkansas. Last season she won her regional beam title on the way to a 2nd place regional finish and she qualified to JOs. She recently won vault at the Peppermint Twist meet.

Erika Muhaw, L10 at North Stars in New Jersey, has announced her commitment to Utah. Last season she won her state meet and finished 1st on bars and floor. She placed 1st on beam at regionals and finished 16th AA at JOs. She recently placed 1st in all around and on beam at the Christmas on the Cheasapeake meet.
Towson has announced the signing of Bailey Gallagher and Bridget Steffen to Letters of Intent.
Gallagher is a L10 from Berks who placed 49th AA at the 2012 Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals. She also finished 13th at the Region VII L10 Regionals in 2011.
Steffen is a L10 from World Class in Virginia. At the 2012 Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals, she placed 36th AA. As a Level 9 in 2011, she was 3rd AA at the Level 9 Eastern Nationals.

Sydney McGlone, L10 at Universal Gymnastics in Ohio, has announced her commitment to Arkansas. Sydney was the 2012 State All Around, Bars, Beam and Floor champ. She also picked up the regional floor title and qualified to JOs.
Andie Van Vorhis, L10 from Universal Gymnastics in Ohio, has committed to Northern Illinios. She is a two time JO NIT qualifier placing in the top three all-around at many of her meets last year.
Kirsten Gendron, L10 at Mid-Michigan Gymnastics, has committed to Eastern Michigan. In her frist season completing Level 10, she finished 17th AA at the 2012 JOs.
Minnesota (W) will welcome walkons Bailey Abernathy of Colorado and Athena Geisness of Minnesota to the 2013-2014 roster.
Abernathy, a L10 from the Colorado Gymnastics Institute, placed 13th AA at the 2012 JO NIT meet, after placing 8th AA at Regionals. She was 10th at Regionals in 2011.
Geisness is a L10 at Midwest and has qualified to the Region IV L10 Regional meet.
Krystin Chiellini, L10 from Golden City Gymnastics in Florida has committed to Cornell. Last season Krystin placed in the top 10 AA at most of her meets and placed 9th AA at her state meet.
Brooke Williams, L10 at Gymnastics East in Washington, has committed to Brown. Last season Brooke placed in the top 10 AA at all of her meets through regionals, where she placed 4th AA and qualified to JOs.
Mitzi Unda-Sosa, L10 from WOGA, has been accepted to Yale and will compete on their gymnastics team. In 2012, Mitzi won the bars title at her regional meet and placed 16th AA at JOs. She has also represented Mexico in international competitions in the past.
Jessica Wang, an Elite gymnast at Winner's Academy of Gymnastics in California, has committed to Cal Berkeley. Last season, she qualified for Visa Championships as a Junior International Elite.
